Aria Sky Suites are a must do!
Pros:

Suite 52016 was amazing!! This is the first time that we got a smoking room (I'm a cigar smoker) and the room was and stayed smelling fresh and nice! The Aria scent is resort wide it seems, lol. The whole Sky Suites experience is a must do also.

ARIA Sky Suites: A Premium Label That Falls Short
Pros:

We rated our stay three stars because, for Sky Suites, the experience felt average overall. Commendable housekeeping throughout the Sky Suites, from our rooms to shared areas, was the only element that kept this stay at three stars.
That said, the accommodations themselves did not feel like suites. The "Sky Suites" rooms were comparable to standard rooms, with the main differences being the higher floors and quieter atmosphere, similar to what one might expect at Nobu Hotel, though even that comparison feels generous.
Unfortunately, the Sky Suites Lounge was the most disappointing aspect of our experience. The service felt below average and did not align with the expectations of a VIP offering. The staff presence felt more supervisory than welcoming, which made the lounge feel uncomfortable rather than relaxing.
Aside from the self-service items, requesting wine or sparkling water felt like an inconvenience, and this was consistent throughout all three nights of our stay. This was surprising, as we have experienced warmer and more attentive service in far more casual settings.
We’re sharing this feedback in the hope that it leads to improvement, as the Sky Suites concept has great potential. If we were to stay at Aria again, we would likely choose a standard room instead. Given the many Las Vegas options that offer larger rooms and true suites at similar price points, we would carefully consider where to stay in the future.

Aria is our provider of choice
Pros:

Aria is always our favorite resort/casino when in Vegas. This trip reinforced to us why! The food, the people, the cleanliness, the processes. The icing on the cake is the scent that flows throughout the casino. Everything is perfect!

Sky Suites is a Must Stay
Pros:

First stay at Aria Sky Suites. Suite was well appointed and very clean/well kept. Sky Suites guest check in was seamless. The Sky Suites lounge was well stocked and the attendants were friendly and quick with service. All staff encountered (check in desk, lounge, bell desk, security and housekeeping) were friendly and efficient at their duties. Sky Suites is definitely at the top of our list of best rooms we’ve had in Vegas.

Great stay!
Pros:

I loved everything about our suite. My daughter came with us to Las Vegas, and we each had our own bedroom and a bathroom. There was a powder room as well and we used the dining table twice to eat in and get room service for breakfast. Overall it was a wonderful stay

Birthday surprise
Pros:

It was my wife's birthday, and Aria had treated us with top notch service. We were upgraded to a Sky Suite and was compensated with chocolate covered strawberries and other little chocolates. The house keeping staff would greet you as you walked down the hallway and made sure that all of your needs were made during our stay.

ARIA provides one the most beautiful and classy looking suites in Las Vegas. It was not too far from the major airport and still right on the strip. I felt very safe, relaxed and comfortable. Thank you ARIA

Excellent hotel for short or long stay
Pros:

The skysuites are beautiful, roomy and well appointed. Only drawback is that the electronics (which are great) are sometimes difficult to figure out -- just about everything works off an ipad. The hotel is conveniently located to take advantage of nearby hotels for shows and restaurants. The Aria has our absolutely favorite restaurant in it -- Din Tai Fong. We will definitely stay here again.

Daughters and Mother at Vegas luxury
Pros:

My sisters, mom, and I prepared this trip and, booked Aria. I was surprised what a luxury we got(we deserve it). 20th floor strip view was our highlight. Room was clean and modern, bed was too high but cozy. The tablet was a great perk too, the pool was nice and spa-like, and my very favorite: the casino.
A couple of drawbacks: no coffee maker(why?), the quite big homeless population around the hotel area and even in the tram(we liked the tram though).
And while this hotel was not quite my liking...l only appreciated the fact of staying in Aria, a luxury hotel on the strip.

So-so .. good in parts
Pros:

Stayed for four nights

Very clean accommodations but as mentioned by a previous reviewer, the curtains let in far too much light (unlike the Bellagio suites which are perfect)

Issue with the toilet throughout the stay - toilet ‘engineer’ called but didn’t manage to fix it meaning that I had to put my hand in the cistern for it to flush - not what you’d expect from a Forbes rated property

Furniture in suites very uncomfortable, probably purposefully so you don’t spend too much time in your suite and are downstairs losing money (didn’t witness many winners!)

Housekeeping fab two days but on other two days failed to empty trash or replenish bathroom accessories - not good!

As a high status casino member requested a late check out but was only offered one hour, with no option offered to pay for an extension - so spent over 6 hours without a room waiting for our lift to the airport

The older ‘gentleman’ at the MGM Rewards desk really ought to brush up on his manners and attitude - didn’t bother looking up and very terse

I am afraid to say that Aria Sky Suites is on a very slippery slope indeed

Gigantic Disappointment
Pros:

This place is overhyped beyond words. Room service (under $125) delivered in a paper bag; over sixty minutes waits for food; a “club” that’s an adjunct to the lobby and serves a few finger eats for breakfast; people tramping up the elevator with supplies because a bottle of water can set you back $20; curtains that let light through; shower that’s as old as the red hills; featureless marble floors; dorm room furniture. And so on. Staff is friendly and helpful when there’s more than one or two at the busy front desk. Haven’t the folks who love this place been to a really good hotel before? Save your money and stay elsewhere. Or better yet, avoid Las Vegas altogether. The city has seen better days — like 15 or 20 year ago — without much promise ahead.

Slice of Heaven in Sin City
Pros:

This is a remarkable experience. Sky Suites sends a limo to the airport to get you (and take you back when you have lost all of your money). There is a separate check in and lounge area. Separate elevators. Everything to make you feel special from the moment you arrive. The suite is beautiful of course, larger than my apartment, with a real luxurious feel. The walk in closet was a little lost on me since I arrive with three polo shirts, socks and underwear, but if you are unpacking and moving in for a few days with a wardrobe this will accommodate you nicely. Bathroom is awesome with both stand up shower and tub. And the views are amazing out the bank of windows that runs the length of the suite. The staff is amazing - friendly and so helpful. Housekeeping in particular keeps the suite looking spectacular, and you actually get a tray with water and chocolates for the evening. The elevators are close to a couple of nice restaurants, and then it is turn the corner and out into the middle of the casino. This is truly an incredible experience. The Aria Sky Suites are a slice of heaven.

A sanctuary in Las Vegas
Pros:

My stay was amazing. I loved the bright, clean lines of the decor. The amenities, like AC units throughout, soaking tub and lighting controls throughout provided a most comfortable stay. It was a restful stay and am looking to go back soon!

The 2 star reviews are ACCURATE
Pros:

I came to Trip Advisor to see whether the uncaring level of service was just a "me" problem and discovered it was not. I will start off by saying that the the room i had -- a 2 bedroom Mountain View suite on the 51st floor-- was simply spectacular in terms of aesthetics, cleanliness and view. As someone else commented, that's where it ends. I'll just list all of the things that were below par and you can make your own decision as to whether this qualifies as a 5 star hotel:
1. They do not honor any perks provided with elite credit cards. For example, Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status and above should result in the $55 daily "resort fees" being waived. They declined to do so because they claim they only "partner" with Marriott. Similarly late checkout provided with Marriott Bonvoy or Amex Platinum is non existent. I booked my reservation weeks in advance and requested late checkout. I repeatedly requested it via the pre-check-in concierge and multiple times during my stay. The "best" they could do was one extra hour. This was annoying because I had booked a spa treatment at 10 am which required me and my daughter to rush back from our massages to finish packing and leave the room in time.

2. I arrived at the airport and my pre-arranged free airport transfer included with the sky suite I booked was not there. He texted me that he was "dispatched late" and would be there shortly. Not the end of the world as he arrived relatively quickly, but again, poor planning by the hotel

3. At check-in the employee barely bothered to look up from her screen and addressed me as "MR." I corrected her and she didn't apologize. I guess women don't usually book these rooms?

4. Our suite was not ready when we arrived around 11 am. They promised they would call me if the room became available before the 3pm check-in. Of course no call came. At 3:30 I called to inquire and after some hemming and hawing, they said the room was ready. I returned to the front desk, and the clerk made a mysterious call to confirm that it was okay for us to go to the room. She handed us the keys and we walked into a beautiful suite. My daughter and I were standing in the living room ooh-ing and aah-ing about the beauty of the suite and the view, when we were scared half to death by a gentleman emerging from the bathroom. He said he had been told that the room had been put "on hold" because the prior occupant had spilled purple hair dye all over the shower and he was still in the process of cleaning it. He had heavy equipment in the bathroom and it reeked of cleaning agents. He assured us he could be finished shortly. So we said okay. At that point the clerk at the front desk called to make sure everything was ok and I explained what had just transpired. She offered us a $200 food and beverage credit. I accepted. At that time I told her I'd pre-arranged to have a charcuterie board and fruit tray in the room when we arrived, but it was not there. By this time, due to the late check in, it was too close to our scheduled dinner plans, so I asked her to cancel the order. She said she would, but 2 hours later as we were getting dressed for dinner it arrived. Unfortunately my daughter answered the door and allowed them to bring it in, so we were stuck with food items we were not about to eat. We stuck it in the fridge.

5. The next day as we were killing time before that evening's plans, we decided to watch a movie. A sign posted in the room said we could watch shows from our devices via an HDMI cable. I contacted the concierge who proceeded to tell me the TVs were "too old" and did not allow for such connections. I sent a photo of the sign in the room and asked if it was inaccurate. She then said okay well I guess you can. I asked if I could borrow one from the hotel-- mind you this is a supposedly 5 star hotel, in a supposedly elite section-- and she told me they don't have HDMI cables. In THIS day and age-- that is standard, like asking for a toothbrush or extra pillows. I have had HDMI cables provided to me at extremely BASIC hotels. To add insult to injury, the concierge then proceeded to tell me there were "places across the street" where I could go buy one. Unbelievable.

6. Because we had a spa service early in the morning with checkout immediately after, I had to go to the front desk to find out how I could use the $200 food and beverage credit at lunch if I had already checked out. That process took a solid 30 minutes as she had to go talk to her manager multiple times to figure out how to arrange it to be credited to my bill. This couldn't have been the first time they had to deal with this issue.

7. I spoke to three different concierges trying to book the spa service. I must have given the same info 10 times. The "text" concierge services they offer is nothing but a joke.

8. The sky suites lounge is super basic. Other than the fancy coffee machine, the snacks offered are basic basic basic, and no more than 2 or 3 items-- plain mini croissants: some type of salmon pastry: and peanut butter/chocolate energy squares. Then your choice of mini bottles of purified water or Minute Maid orange or apple juices. Again-- ultra low budget. The only thing you are paying for are the rooms. That's it.

I will say that housekeeping, the bell desk, the limo drivers and one or two other random staff members were great. The spa was also nice, though I wish I didn't have to rush back to checkout. That was not "relaxing." As a whole, however, the service was below par. I will try a different hotel next time. I have had fabulous experiences at the Wynn/Encore and the Venetian. The new Conrad hotel at Resorts World, and the suites at the Fontainebleau look promising and those hotels are new and beautiful.

Hope your experience is better than mine.

1st time visit to Aria Sky Suites
Pros:

I traveled to Aria Sky Suites for my birthday and stayed in a 1 bedroom penthouse suite. The room was beautiful!! I loved the soaking tub and size of the room! Very spacious and clean.

I have stayed in normal rooms at Aria many times and have always felt the front desk staff have left a lot to be desired. I thought Sky suites would be different and sadly they were not.

Me and my partner arrived later at night to a mainly empty check in lobby. I let the staff know I was celebrating my birthday and this was our first stay at Sky suites. I was met with a robotic check in experience and no mention of any of the amenities this hotel provides (sky pool, lounge access hours , etc…) or even a happy birthday mention. I have honestly had better check in experiences at Hilton or Marriott.

A few hours later, once getting ready for bed. We found the black out curtain in the bedroom did not close at all. After trying many times from the tablet and the wall controls , we had to call for service. The concierge let me know she would reset our room instead of sending someone to help like I hoped. This did not work to fully get the shades closed, but we were so exhausted we just tried to get as much sleep as we could with bright light pouring into the room through one side.

The next morning, I let the front desk know about the situation and staff was apologetic, but could not give me any ETA on when someone could service the room. I ended up waiting hours for this to be fixed, since I did not want to leave for the night until I was certain I would be able to sleep when we returned from our long night out for my birthday evening. During this wait, I used the tablet in the room to order a few items to be delivered to the room (a steamer, flat iron and a brush since I forgot mine) these items never arrived.

I called to inquire about the order and the concierge stated they never received any order and to try again. I placed the order again and waited for a hour and never received the items.

Finally, called again to the concierge and she placed the order for me since my tablet must have a “glitch” she stated. I did receive the items after staff placed the order and hours after the items were needed.

That night when we returned , I realized the black out curtain actually has a small space that does not close at the start of the curtain, so just a warning, if you like a completely dark sleeping space , you will not find that at Sky suites. This was after the curtain was serviced, so I assume they are all this way.

Overall, I was just disappointed with the service I received, on what I thought would be a special experience.

First time at Vdara Hotel and Eagles Concert
Pros:

Went to Vdara Hotel they are all suites .We were in the one bedroom penthouse room .It was nice and roomy .When we checked in front desk person was very nice and gave us some water bottles to take to the room. He also said if we wanted more come down and ask which we did. If its the first time there there is a hallway to walk to Belligo and cosmo. that was very useful .All the rooms have a fridge so either bring your drinks or on the strip there is a CVS or ABC store which is cheaper then the hotel store . The food on the strip is very expensive so plan for food budget. We also went to the eagles concert which was expensive but worth it. At the Sphere the seating ha s 4 levels we sat in second level which was great . If you can avoid the 3 or 4 level I would its very high and steep but all the seats you are able to see well in any seat. i hope this helped you out.
