Hampton Inn & Suites Phoenix/Scottsdale on Shea Boulevard

Very clean, staff was friendly, food was good. We will look for Hampton Inn whenever we need a hotel now.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great.

Wonderful room, breakfast and pool

Had an awesome stay. Our room was perfect, very clean, breakfast was delicious.The Hotel staff very friendly and helpful they went above and beyond to accommodate us! I will definitely be back again. If I could rate higher I would!!

Bathrooms werent cleaned properly and found hair on my floor.

This was one of the nicest hotels we've stay in for the amount of money we spent. It was worth every penny. The stay was extremely helpful, the room was very clean, especially the bathroom. Very nice facility.

Convenient location

They turned almost a negative experience from for a mishap on a third-party reservation. To an amazing hospitality and stay.

The continental breakfast was amazing! lots of hot food choices- omelet, bacon, sausage, waffles, pancakes, oatmeal.
Staff was kind and courteous, we had a great stay!

I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites on Shea Boulevard in Scottsdale and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and wonderfully quiet — perfect for a relaxing stay. Its location is also a major highlight: conveniently situated near all major stores, and just a short drive to the Malls, Downtown, and Old Town Scottsdale.

The rooms were comfortable, the atmosphere was peaceful, and everything about the property felt inviting and safe.

However, one area that stood out — unfortunately, for the wrong reasons — was the breakfast. If you came a little "late" (around 8:00 AM), you would likely find very little left. Items like cream cheese, yogurt, eggs, and even napkins were missing, and what was available was not up to the standard one would expect. The powdered scrambled eggs and overly processed sausage left much to be desired. It was quite disappointing given the otherwise high quality of the hotel.

My sincere recommendation to the hotel's management and owners would be either to increase the room rate slightly if a quality breakfast is to be included, or to stop advertising breakfast altogether if they are unable to offer a decent meal. Guests should never be made to feel like second-rate customers, especially in such an otherwise excellent establishment.

Despite the breakfast issue, I would still recommend this hotel to travelers looking for a clean, quiet, and very well-located place to stay in n Scottsdale.

The biggest downfall was that the pool was closed on a 90 degree day. I specifically booked the room and the property for the excellent teachers reviews of the pool and the rooms close proximity to it. I wish I would have been notified prior so I had the opportunity to find a different hotel or get a discount of some sort.
However, the staff were all very kind and everything else was great.

had terrible next door neighbors, smoking next to our door the first night, then talking loudly outside our door until 3am on our last night. We ended up leaving the hotel

We did not receive maid service until the 4th day and only because we complained. Of the 12 days there, we had to request maid service twice and ask for extra towels at the front desk twice. On the positive side the breakfasts were better than most hotels.

This hotel was extremely clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, decent breakfast, nice gym, and close driving to hikes, baseball games, and dining. It also was quiet and the bed was comfortable.

The only issue we had was our shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and lotion were all empty

Beautiful clean hotel with wonderful staff. I got in early and they were able to accommodate an early check in. Very nice pool area. Comfortable beds and very clean.

Reception area was fine. The hallways had over powering room freshener. Our room had hair in the tub , a dirty toilet seat and again, so much room spray to cover smells
The heater did not work, yet was so loud
