Everything; location is great; next to metro station. We bought daily card and went everywhere by metro as this was the fastest and the most convenient way to travel. Shanghai metro is easy to navigate you just need to Google which station is the nearest to the place you want to go. Don't be confused with info that some stations are closed; none of them were closed. Rooms are really spacious and we had a big window with nice views. They are some restaurants nearby; we mostly liked Xibo; on the 3rd floor of the building 5 mins walk from the hotel. Hotel was clean, comfortable and if you pay for breakfast immediately on arrival it is 1/2 price (100 CNY). Breakfast is excellent; a big variety and tasty, they even had a duck. Pool was a bit cold-ish for me, but jacuzzi and sauna were great. Steam room was mild. One night air-conditioning broke and we were cold; they brought us a heater within few minutes. Overall, very pleasant stay; we would stay here again.

Zentrale Lage
Large rooms, location of hotel good in Jing An district. Whole hotel dated (previously was hilton hotel) but notice-ably ageing.
Aircon did not blow cold air despite control pad on wall settings set to coldest setting. This was despite warm spring weather in early April (daytime highs of >20C). First night was unbearably, muggy, hot and sweaty as a result. Informed the concierge in the night, but was told their hotel policy over winter was for hot aircon only, and that the weather was not yet warm enough for them to turn on cold AC power units (one can only assume this was a cost cutting measure). Instead, was advised the best they could do was provide a small plug in electric fan... Also, the fridge in the room didn't work on arrival, an engineer was promptly sent, he brought a new fridge which still didnt work. At this point gave up.

The room is big and clean. Great location, close to the metro station, food is everywhere.
Could not find the hairdryer, concierge staffs are not very helpful. Every room door close, you could hear the loud smashing. Pillows are not comfortable.

Some guests are smoking in their rooms, causing the smell of cigarettes to linger in the hallways and potentially seep into other rooms.
The check in was reasonable. I loved the big windows and view from the bedroom. Comfortable furniture. WiFi pretty good. Location was excellent.
The jacuzzi water was either way too hot and freezing cold, why not a moderate temperature?
Fabulous location for the airport and trains. Hotel was above expectations.
Nothing would recommend
We had an overall pleasant stay at Kunlun. The hotel itself is nice and comfortable, and the facilities met our needs during our visit.
However, we felt that the customer service could be improved. As this is a larger hotel, we understand that it can be more difficult to provide the same personalised service that smaller boutique hotels offer. That said, a little more friendliness and warmth from staff would make the experience even better for guests.
The service we received was generally efficient, but it sometimes felt a bit impersonal. We believe that with a bit more focus on customer service and guest interaction, the overall stay could feel much more welcoming.
That being said, we understand that large hotels often operate differently and can sometimes feel less personal compared to smaller establishments. Overall, our stay was comfortable, and with some improvements in customer service, the experience could be even better for future guests

The location was good, taxi very reasonable to all places of interest. Lots of restaurants near by especially down to right of hotel to lights turn right and walk past first few restaurants then find a small family run place so good food, they still have Xmas signs in windows, do go.
You can walk down to temple a must visit
Not 5 star very run down, staff not friendly especially room service guy who delivered our food and when we said could we have drink he got really angry, scary even though we apologised.
Someone had gone through our belongings (so obvious) so put stuff somewhere safe.
Air conditioning did not work
