Pros:

Staff were very friendly overall the hotel was very clean and smelled amazing. The bar/ restaurant had amazing service and food was excellent.

Cons:

Double beds were a little too small for two people to fit in .

Good for the price
Pros:

The staff was lovely and service was really quick.

Cons:

A couple things.
*when its below zero, a blanket would have been nice. We had to turn the heat way up to sleep.
*The room needs more light. I had a hard time getting dressed for a funeral.
*please get a coffee station for your breakfast service. Having to go get it from the bar and ask for accouterments was silly.

Best Short Stay Ever
Pros:

It was clean, updated and modern. I usually stay at the DTW Delta Hotel but this one is as nice as that one. Delta Hotels are my preferred hotels for traveling. I will definitely stay here again.

Good overall hotel to stay
Pros:

The property location is awesome, probably 8-12min away from attractions ( 12Oaks Mall, Fountain Walk, Walmart etc etc. UNO Pizza has a great food menu, the alcohol is ridiculously overpriced. $15 for a shot; but overall good.

Cons:

Most of the times, the rooms showers or counter tops aren’t cleaned properly. Still be hair plastered on the shower walls, countertops still be sticky. The refrigerators don’t get cold.
The staff is pretty cool, beside one particular older woman that works the day shift. I had some rude and u pleasant feelings on her behalf since last year of my at that hotel. That’s another story to tell, I’m surprise she still works there, customer Service isn’t her great strong suit.

Pros:

Convenient location with friendly, hard working staff. The common areas are modern and well appointed: lobby, restaurant, fitness center, pool, banquet rooms. The beds were comfortable and the housekeeping staff was great However the rooms are dark and the lighting is poor. The bathrooms are very dated: old tub, visible wear on wall paper, baseboards, flooring. etc. Definitely needs some work. Breakfast buffet is mediocre.

I enjoy staying here as not only the staff, but the condition and cleanliness of the hotel and room is impeccable.
I always recommend this hotel to friends and family as I've been staying here for over 5 years when I visit Michigan.
