The location was brilliant. The welcome water and lolly for my daughter was an appreciated gesture.
The bed was comfy. Room spacious.
Bathroom had no hair dryer and was slightly dark.

L’établissement a besoin de rénovation. Les chambres sont vieilles et très abîmées pour avoir pris une suite pour quatre personnes. Cela a été très décevant. En plus ils m’ont fait payer 150 livres supplémentaires pour être surclassé dans une suite supérieure mais je n’ai pas vu la différence et sincèrement surcoté.
Everything was really fine. At night I woke up freezing in the bed. I called the reception and a heater was sent to my room in 10 minutes which was really great.
I have only one complaint about the breakfast, it would be great if you could add smoked Turkey, chicken for the guests who cannot eat bacon. On the other hand egg menu was also so limited. In January I had stayed in Royal Garden Hotel, the were offering sunny side eggs or omlette without charging additional fee.
Wir mochten das Flair des Hotel. Das Gebäude ist schon etwas älter, doch die Inneneinrichtung war schön und gemütlich. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und kundenorientiert, der Service hervorragend.
Die Fenster unseres Zimmers (alte Holzfenster) waren nicht ganz dicht. Deshalb war das Bad recht kühl. Die Klimaanlage hat aber insgesamt gut dagegen geheizt.

My recent stay at The Dilly was deeply disappointing and far below what one would expect from a hotel of its reputation and price point.
The rooms were in terrible condition. The furniture was visibly scratched and worn, giving the space a neglected, run-down feel. The carpets looked dirty and poorly maintained, which made the entire room feel unhygienic. Basic amenities were either missing or shockingly minimal. Overall, the room felt outdated, tired, and nowhere near the standard advertised. The bathroom smelled terrible, like sewage, and it was cleaned properly. The bathrobes had insects in them. Disgusting.
While most of the staff were polite and helpful, there were a few whose behavior was unacceptable. I encountered attitude that was openly dismissive and unnecessarily rude. At one point, the interaction crossed into what felt like blatantly discriminatory treatment. No guest should ever feel uncomfortable or disrespected in a hotel they are paying to stay in.
The inconsistency between friendly staff and those displaying such poor conduct only made the experience more frustrating.
For the price charged, this hotel does not deliver quality, comfort, or professionalism. Avoid at all costs.

This was the first time we'd stayed at the Dilly and the warmth of the welcome from all the staff was second to none. Our room was lovely, the breakfast really good and the location perfect for visiting London. We would definitely book again.

They treat you like royalty and the concierge manager, Selim Atias, makes you feel like you are family. The upgraded room was perfect. The staff everywhere are helpful and wonderful. The Doorman, Paul, is so knowledgeable and helpful. I have stayed at The Dilly Hotel several times now, and each time we are treated even better, and we have always from the first time been treated like we are their best customers ever. We will return knowing they always do a great job!
There is a little remodeling going on but we know that when it is finished we will look forward to it even more. The remodel didn’t create any issue, but was just something to know. The service at every level more than made up for their ongoing upgrades!!
