Absolutely shocked to read positive reviews on this hotel. If other reviews are true, we must have gotten the shaft with our room. When we arrived, the odor in the room was almost unbearable. I’m talking a chemical smell and it was burn your eyes unbearable. The carpet throughout the rooms were wet and the windows were opened - we assumed to air out whatever the smell was. When we told the front desk, we were told that they could spray an air freshener but that was all they could do. We left the room and didn’t come back until bedtime. At that point, we unfolded the sofa bed to find a vape and no linens in the room. Once again we called the front desk. After about 30 minutes, we received them. In general, the room seemed dirty. The shower bottom was in sad condition. I may attach a photo. Overall, we were very disappointed in our stay here, so much so, that when we found out that we needed to spend another night in the area, we packed all of our things and found a different hotel.
Booked 3 rooms for three nites while going to Hershey Park with 10 family members. Only 20 minutes to the park so that was nice. Had a few issues with our rooms but they were handled quickly with very friendly and accommodating staff.
We stayed at this property for one night while traveling north. The property is very convenient to Rt. 15. The hotel seemed crowded and check in took a few minutes although the clerk was very nice.
We like our room. The layout was better than most Homewood properties. There was a breakfast bar area and an extra, comfortable chair in the living area. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were a little thin. The bathroom was fine with good water pressure but there was mildew around the outside of the tub and the bottom of the tub was stained. This should be obvious to housekeeping staff.
Breakfast was very crowded. The selection of food was somewhat better than most Homewoods and there was a large seating area but the attendant's simply couldn't keep up. Several items ran out and weren't replenished. It was the worst crowd we've ever seen at a Homewood breakfast. The staff said they weren't expecting such a large large group but that seems hard to believe.
Staff at the reception and the location.
First it doesn't provide to hotel guests and it's only for HH members. Shower stand was broken and I had a difficulty to take shower.
Staff was professional and helpful. It was clean and breakfast was delicious.

The property is showing signs of wear in the hallways. I was concerned that entry from the outside does not require to scan the hotel card. That’s alarming in today’s society with all the checks and balance.
The hotel was generally appealing and our suite was spacious & clean. The bed & pillows were super comfortable and I enjoyed having a kitchen to prepare healthy meals for my diabetic husband.
We didn’t care for the free breakfast, specifically the prepared hot items. Several burners on the outdoor grills didn’t light and the inside of the elevator door has some sticky gunk all over it.

A little pricey for the value. They used to do the manager's reception dinner 4 nights a week (Mon-Thu), but post pandemic have not brought that back. Would be nice if that were more than just Wednesday. TVs in the rooms seem very outdated for a Homewood Suites. Other than that solid. Good Wi-Fi, safe location, Marzoni's restaurant right next door, hot shower & good water pressure.
The staff here is always professional, helpful, friendly, and kind. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is better than similar hotels (although I'm not into the burrito bar). Thanks for having fresh bananas! My husband and I love having the extra space and two TVs, as we watch different shows in the evening.
