The staff was exceptional! Very friendly. The room was nice and the facilities were overall very well kept.
The pool is small but adequate. It is VERY warm in the pool area and you are not allowed to prop the door to allow air in which was annoying.
The biggest issue I (and our group) had during the stay was the key cards. No matter where you kept them (purse, wallet, pocket etc), away from any other cards or electronics, they deactivated. In my two nights there I had to have the card reprogrammed 7 times. Inconvenient to say the least but the staff was friendly in helping.
Location is great. Comfy bed, clean room. Staff was friendly
Things are a little dated
Convenience and affordability
The breakfast lady wasn't very pleasant. At about 920 when some food was out she stated she wasn't making more as its (breakfast) is almost over. A light was leaking above the waffle station, the lady rudely said we'll its closed now as we were clearly trying to make a waffle. The bed squeaked no matter the little movement. Bathroom door was a tight close across the tile as it obviously wasn't level.
Available
House keeping room could have been cleaner corners and spots missed many times
meal and cordial service
bathroom was a bit aged
Nice room, nice breakfast, nice people.
The price for a dog for one night was ridiculous! ($75 for one night) I won’t stay again when I have my dog with me and most of the time I travel with him.
Arrived at 10 PM on Christmas Eve exhausted and was greeted rudely by the front desk. We were disappointed that the pool was down and was told then you can just cancel. Surprised by the rudeness, we said we didn’t want the reservation canceled. We had prepaid for the room and was told she wouldn’t check us in because our card declined. We offered a different card for incidentals and she refused. Told us she cancelled our prepaid room and we could find somewhere else to sleep. ON CHRISTMAS EVE! We have been refused a refund and told good luck getting to a manager. DO NOT STAY HERE!
Convenient location next to interstate.
Dirty bathroom and floors. Dirty stained mattress. Pool out of service with no notice before arrival. Fresh fruit at breakfast was old and about to spoil.
Nothing
The room was filthy, including the comforter and furniture. there was mold in the shower and other people‘s hair obviously they did not clean it.
One of the worst stays I’ve had in a while. The guy who checked us in was nice, but that was the high point. First, the whole place smells like carpet cleaning powder. Second, the hotel is very close to the interstate. If your room is on the east side of the hotel, the noise from semis is very bad. Every 15-30 seconds all night long, a semi went by that literally shook the room. It felt like a small earthquake. We barely slept. The room came with earplugs next to each bed, and I should have taken that red flag more seriously. We asked to switch rooms for the second night, but the morning shift room and cleaning manager was obviously annoyed we even asked. She couldn’t accommodate our request, which I get, but she was a jerk about it. So, we checked out when we were done with our business for the day and got a room elsewhere. Of course, this was a non-refundable room, so I took a bath on this. The whole experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. We all have options when we travel. I’ll never stay at another Hampton Inn. I’d sleep in my car if my only option is a Hampton Inn.
Had difficulty figuring out how to access TV channels.
The room is clean. The bathroom looks tired and there is mold in the bathtub/shower. The road noise from I-75 is unbearable. We had a white noise machine that sounds like a jet engine that could not drown it out.
