Nice room, nice breakfast, nice people.

Arrived at 10 PM on Christmas Eve exhausted and was greeted rudely by the front desk. We were disappointed that the pool was down and was told then you can just cancel. Surprised by the rudeness, we said we didn’t want the reservation canceled. We had prepaid for the room and was told she wouldn’t check us in because our card declined. We offered a different card for incidentals and she refused. Told us she cancelled our prepaid room and we could find somewhere else to sleep. ON CHRISTMAS EVE! We have been refused a refund and told good luck getting to a manager. DO NOT STAY HERE!

One of the worst stays I’ve had in a while. The guy who checked us in was nice, but that was the high point. First, the whole place smells like carpet cleaning powder. Second, the hotel is very close to the interstate. If your room is on the east side of the hotel, the noise from semis is very bad. Every 15-30 seconds all night long, a semi went by that literally shook the room. It felt like a small earthquake. We barely slept. The room came with earplugs next to each bed, and I should have taken that red flag more seriously. We asked to switch rooms for the second night, but the morning shift room and cleaning manager was obviously annoyed we even asked. She couldn’t accommodate our request, which I get, but she was a jerk about it. So, we checked out when we were done with our business for the day and got a room elsewhere. Of course, this was a non-refundable room, so I took a bath on this. The whole experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. We all have options when we travel. I’ll never stay at another Hampton Inn. I’d sleep in my car if my only option is a Hampton Inn.

Had difficulty figuring out how to access TV channels.

The room is clean. The bathroom looks tired and there is mold in the bathtub/shower. The road noise from I-75 is unbearable. We had a white noise machine that sounds like a jet engine that could not drown it out.

Building is a bit outdated overall great location.

I booked the hotel with buffet breakfast because everywhere I traveled, they always had blueberry muffins. This one had blueberry muffins but touching banana nut and I am deathly allergic to bananas. So i was pretty bumbed knowing they were touching. My suggestion is to maybe separate them by little cardboard splitters or something and also naming them. I almost took one not knowing. The lady said she touches each flavor with a different glove but I watched her and she didnt. The next morning I went to see if maybe she heard my concern about not being able to have it and that i reallly wanted a blueberry muffin and i got told “well i can make you a bagel” i appreciate the offer but no. Everything else was great!!

We had a comfortable stay. No issues to report.

Rented two rooms for one night. One room was nice and clean. The other smelled like a mixture of dirty socks and decaying mouse corpse. The front desk was accommodating and gave us some room spray but it didn't help much. We didn't want to switch rooms because it was too late at night and we'd then be too far from my daughter in the next room. Staff was very nice but no amount of niceness could make up for that smell. Breakfast was decent, waffles were excellent. Generally speaking the hotel is pretty outdated and needs a good overhaul.

Convenient location. Room was small and a little tired. Could use a renovation. Staff was excellent.

Stay was okay. They have renovations going on. Pool closed for renovation.

Highway noise. ( Hence the complimentary ear plugs in the room I guess)
