Location, location, location - the hotel is a few minutes walk from Holborn station and Covent Garden station. It is within easy walking distance of Covent garden, Leicester square, Trafalgar square, Piccadilly circus, Oxford street from Tottenham Court end, Charring Cross station. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance and both the shows that we decided to see (Mamma Mia & Hercules) where a few minutes walk away. I've lost count of the number of times I've been to London and this hotel has had the best location yet. The room was spacious for 2 people with 2 large suitcases, we were there for 8 nights and didn't feel cramped in the space. Plenty of mirrors and natural light to make getting ready in the morning easy. The air-conditioning was excellent - we had highs of 35 degrees Celsius during our stay.
The only fault I can find is that there wasn't a towel warmer in the bathroom. And either a suitcase rack or a plastic runner that can be placed on the bed, so you can put the suitcase on the bed while packing.
Perfect location, great bar and comfortable room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the lobby very welcoming.

The fact that I left the room one night before our schedule and notified both booking and the Hotel 48 hours earlier and till now no one responded back on whay we are not getting refund for this last night!
Excellent location (just around the corner from Holburn Underground station) - good staff and service - will happily return to Middle-Eight when I have the opportunity - in fact we stayed an extra night on this trip (9, not 8 lovely days)
one tiny complaint....needed to ask the front desk for shortbread biscuits every day, they were not delivered when the room was cleaned and restocked!

The cleaning services were sometimes delayed
And they forgot to bring towels - just took what we had in the room without replacing it.

I made a last minute booking to spend the weekend in London and the location couldn’t have been more perfect. The staff are excellent and a welcome drink was so appreciated. The room was lovely and bright and designer decorated, lovely to have some colour and a beautiful wardrobe and shower to our disposal. Bathrobes and slippers also very appreciated.
We had an early dinner at the hotels bar and the Italian food was fantastic, exactly what we needed. A DJ played us some tunes.
There can be some music coming from other buildings nearby, there’s a club, pub and live music venue nearby.
It didn’t stop our enjoyment, but it was noticeable, good to know in advance. Hence the 9/10
Adoramos a recepção da funcionária que fez o nosso Checkin na segunda-feira, dia 25. Infelizmente não me recordo o nome dela, mas excelente atendimento e profissionalismo, nosso quarto era o 305, com tamanho muito bom, banheiro ótimo também. Localização excelente e instalações do hotel excelentes, incluindo um Lindo bar. Limpeza do quarto sempre muito bem feita.

The staff go above and beyond at this hotel. The location is fabulous, easy walk to Covent Gardens, West End. Lot's of great pubs and cafes near by.
Our first room had a street view; in fact the front office staff upgraded us. Unfortunately, you could hear the restaurant music from 7am to midnight. We told the staff and they moved us to a room at the rear of the hotel, no view but very quiet.
Outstanding. An excellent photo. Staff are truly fantastic. Make you feel at home. All round superb
