Long Creek Hotel

The thermostat was hanging off the wall, room ac/heater had water pooling ontop of it, microwave turned on but did not heat anything, staining on flooring(looked like someone had an “accident”), jets in the hot tub did not work properly and when they did turn on the water became milky.

I came down to South Portland for a work function. I got there a little after 7pm Wednesday night. When I went to use the microwave the first time there was still mashed potatoes in there from the previous people. I over looked that and just tried to shrug it off.
Went down to the pool and the hot tub was not working properly but was still hot. Ok, things happen. Went down again Thursday; hot tub was Luke warm. I said something to Stefano, he wrote it down.
The hotel Internet did not work properly the whole time. Husband was getting extremely frustrated just trying to watch a movie on Disney+. (7mbps)
Breakfast was more of a disappointing experience for me than anything, but enough that I’m gonna mention it: Nothing hot except for oatmeal, mostly grab and go stuff and the stuff that was supposed to be fresh looked like it had been reused all week (melon, cantaloupe, etc)
I got back from my work function today and sat down only to realized there were male bodily fluids all over the side of the box spring cover on the bed next to mine. (Also from a previous guest 🤢) This was finally my breaking point. I just couldn’t overlook anymore.
I feel like more care could be taken to ensure people enjoy their stay. Multiple things out of order housekeeping missing things that are gross. I am aware that this hotel changed hands not too long ago, But based on my experience this was not worth the amount spent and I would not recommend this hotel to others.

Wish the TV was a smart tv.. It was very glitchy

The only reason I booked this was for the pool and hot tub. It was under renovation. There was toothpaste in my sink and the room made my friend sneeze all night. She is allergic to cigarettes

The room was very dirty. There was a spec of what appeared to be blood on the wall leading into the bathroom.

The overhead light has a chunk of mold or dust that darkens the light itself. Not to mention mildew on the ceiling of the bathroom itself...

The sink hot water doesn't turn on or off properly AND the bathroom sink backs up after 5 seconds of running water.

The last night of our stay you frigging put someone immediately in the room next to us and I saw the cleaners cleaning out numerous rooms on that level and unlocked opened doors meaning that they were available for use.

Also the pool was closed.

Sheets smelled awful to the point I doubted they were washed. Room smelled very musty overall, although it was clean.

The place was run down and smelled like stale cigarette smoke and when we woke up we had little black flies in our water.

Nothing! There was a hole in the wall, the pool was shut down, there was no continental breakfast, it was dirty and trash

The scrambled eggs were terrible.

You guys didn’t have a plowed truck driver here in a adequate time my boyfriend ended up, sitting there and shoveling the walkway after some guy had dropped his food because the snow was piled up too high and the staff member gave my boyfriend a dirty look after he had grabbed a shovel because it was clear that it needed to be shoveled.

The heater was so loud at night it woke me up 5 times.
