Clarion Pointe near Medical Center

This property is shut down so I am waiting to see if I will get my money back for a stay I booked through Expedia for a hotel that's permanently closed.

This property was closed upon arrival. Very upset!!

Hotel is closed and is under construction. We made this reservation a month ago and we were not notified.

Well the people next to us were yelling at each other at 4 am. Called front desk multiple times and nobody answered. I went downstairs to see 3 employees sitting in there watching tv.

About an hour later we were evacuated for a fire.

I never received my cash deposit back. I have tried reaching out multiple times and no response.

We traveled four hours in from Dallas and when we got in front of the Clarion, we found out it was closed due to arson. We never got contacted by Expedia. We never got contacted by the hotel. It was a mad scramble to get another room. It was all a terrible experience. I don’t know who dropped the ball whether it was Expedia or whether there was a Clarion, but it was a terrible experience

Drove from out of town only to find the hotel closed. No email or text or any update to let us know anything. We had to look for another hotel late at night with kids.

Had to evacuate hotel due to fir on the 5th floor management did not over any cocern or voucher to stay at any other Clarion property

Tv was broken. After the fire nothing was told to us about relocating or giving us a refund!

Unsafe place

I am on the road about 26 weeks a year, and during those weeks I will stay in hotels about three nights a week. The Clarion was the single best deal I have found in years. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, nice people at the front desk, an actual good breakfast. I would highly recommend this place.

Rooms could use a little upgrade. But other than that the hotel was good. I would stay here again

Overall great hotel. Room was fine. Bathroom needs an exhaust fan though. Gets really steamy. Room service was great. Free breakfast was good, did the job.

There was only 1 of 2 working elevators. Only working ice machine on the 3rd floor. There was no working room phone, so hard to reach front desk. Phone number on website not same as in actual hotel. Other then that was okay.

Close to shopping areas, front staff were really friendly and room was really clean

Place is filthy and old. State of disrepair. Smells like smoke. People drinking in parking lot at night. Horrible breakfast.

The staff was amazing! The property is a bit outdated. The breakfast was not self serve We asked to be moved from 1st room we were given due to the intolerable smell of cigarettes smoke.

System problems frustrated the check in process which resulted in at least an hour delay checking in and the anxiousness of not knowing whether it would be fixed. I was told that management’s solution was simply have them wait.
