Like the location. Pretty close to the places we visited. Very quite stay.
It stunk really bad. The bathroom smelled like mold and there was black mold on the bathroom wall at the top near the ceiling.
Had pool
The smell of the area was awful. They charged us extra to be able to park our cars while me stayed.
Comfy bed.
The building and room were visibly dated and not well cleaned. The wifi didn’t work, which the front desk told us was a complaint from many guests. Flashing hallway lights.
I’m hopeful for a a partial or full refund.
Location
Updated rooms
The hotel was close to a main point to travel anywhere, Historical Charleston, Folley Beach, downtown. The People were friendly and helpful. The pool was nice and clean. The parking lot was clean as well. Its close to a very nice restaurant. I loved looking at all the boats.
The AC on the 4th floor common areas didn't work, only 1 working elevator. My room A/C was horrid. It was somewhat comfortable when it was blowing but when it was off, it was hot and you would wake during the night extremely hot.
You have to pay for parking which I guess I understand, no not really, Its $11 a day. A good washing of all the interior doors would make it look less run down. Its not pretty but its clean and would have been better if the A/C was working. OR they gave me a fan.
Nothing
Wasn't able to check in because money wasn't released from booking even though I had a confirmation receipt. The Hotel wasn't willing to help. Horrible experience
The bed.
Everything else
Location breakfast quality of food
Pay for parking pay for parking double because I had 2 rooms but only one vehicle. Elevator out of service extremely long wait times for elevator. Found an item In bedding from previous guest. Loud ass barking dog in breakfast area.
Didnt drive but they wouldnt waive the parking fee. Canceled my booking
Fees
I like the hotel itself and some staff members were ok an nice but others treated me like I was not good enough to be there
I had trouble booking the room I booked it an paid online got there they said I hadt paid for the room wouldn't help me figure it out just said only thing I can tell you is get ahold of booking an the staff was very rude at the front desk didn't tell me there was a 40 dollar parking fee an would not let me pay cash for parking
The bed was comfortable
Two different buildings was placed in building away from main area with a door and window opening to interstate. So it was traffic noise all the time. Had an issue with water dripping from ceiling above one side of the bed. Nothing was done to fix it when told front desk about it. Breakfast was empty on first day at 8 am no one refilled anything. But scramble eggs. No muffins. No fruit. They were not prepared for amount of guests that was in dining area.
That it was mostly clean, and breakfast was decent.
The shower was super slippery. My mom fell and injured her knee and has to have fluid drained along with nasty bruises on her leg, elbow, and head.
The lovely girl that checked us in was precious and so helpful. Sorry I can't remember her name, but she was amazing.
Can't think of anything
