Booking.com - Do not recommend! No advocate for customers.
Pros:

The location. NEVER USE BOOKING.COM. They have NO customer service. You’re better off going directly to a provider. I was a loyal customer but will NEVER use them again.

Cons:

I was traveling alone. I checked in at 3 pm in the only room booking.com said was available - one on the first floor. The 1st floor was loud- there were partiers on the first floor and vagrants hanging around the front and side entrance. Someone tried to access my room in the first 30 mins. I did not feel safe and the room was not exactly clean feeling so I took the keys to the front and expressed concerns. I was told I had to contact booking.com. I immediately emailed them and after 3 days was told by booking. Com (with a no reply email) that I needed to contact the hotel directly. I tried again and received nothing from either. Booking.com is a fraud and does not respond to longstanding customers. I will never use Booking.com again and will vehemently condemn your (lack) of customer service.

Awful. I'd request a refund but I wouldn't even stay there if they paid me
Pros:

Location was nice with a marina across the street and the pool. The breakfast was ok. The few staff members I dealt with were pleasant enough. Shoutout to the one girl there was a riot to banter with.

Cons:

I mean, it's a cheap hotel but at what point is it just condemnable. Our first room had a busted security latch on the door, the door didn't seal well at all allowing daylight and whatever other bugs and pests around the framing. The TV had black interlacing lines across the screen and the volume didn't work at all and was stuck on loud.

We mentioned all these and the fact that I had paid for the "deluxe" and they mistakingly gave me the wrong room. To their credit they quickly put us in the correct room that was interior access.

The next room was markedly better, however you could still see the lack of care overall. The toilet constantly ran and would eventually "flush and fill" periodically. The shower enamel was chipped and missing, the caulking or sealant around the handle and frame was shoddy and molding. The paint job around the spaces was awful. The air conditioner was noisy when it kicked on. The last straw was a tossup between cockroaches and the bathtub plug not working at all do we couldn't bathe our youngest.

We cut our stay short.

Short break away
Pros:

Beds comfortable room facilities good location good

Cons:

Light bulbs out in lamps, towels not changed, had to ask after staying two days as three without clean towels is ridiculous, stayed in 2nd building take ear plugs as walls are very thin

Pros:

The view was pretty, but an uber ride/ drive from the actual city.

Cons:

The sheets were gross, the bathroom felt like it was falling apart. Everything was rusty or over used. It was fine for my circumstances, but would not stay again or recommend.

Convienent but crappy room.
Pros:

Convenient location.

Cons:

Dirty bathroom. Staff didn’t understand English or speak it. Bed was way too hard. Needs a good cleaning and updated.

It was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had.
Pros:

Front desk customer service was the only thing right at the hotel. They tried their best to accommodate but the facility itself is not suitable.

Cons:

The elevator was broken. The equipment in the fitness room was broken. The hallways were filthy. I did not get any room cleaning service during the time I was there. The breakfast was overcooked and uninviting. Finally there were roaches.
