Cons:

From the moment you arrive, you are greeted by the rudest staff. After a 6-hour journey, you are met by the rudest person imaginable, acting as if you don't know why you're there. They don't even offer you water; you're told to buy it yourself at the market. In the morning, despite a "do not disturb" sign, housekeeping knocked on our door repeatedly and finally came in to ask when we would be leaving. This was a very interesting experience for us. I absolutely do not recommend it and will never stay at a Mariott hotel again.

Elevator situation was a mess. Often had to wait in lines or for several full elevators to pass, 5-10 minutes was usual.

Pool area was fun for kids

Cons:

Tampon applicator found in room, my kid picked it up - that’s beyond disgusting. House keeping also left out door open, pool water was cloudy from all the folks, hot tub had dead flies floating around…everything was beyond overpriced but that could just be our economy…parking garage trash was overflowing the entire weekend…I was disappointed.

Double-Billed and Over-paying
Pros:

Hotel is extremely well-located right at the harbor. Has all the amenities necessary.

Cons:

Way overpriced for what you get. Very generic, corporate hotel. Got double billed for self-parking--which is ridiculous. So many conventioneers there. Pool is very crowded. Restaurants/bars are underwhelming. Gate to re-enter wasn't working and had to walk all the way around

I would definitely stay here again!
Pros:

Everything!! We loved our room, we loved the Marina Kitchen staff, the bell hops, the front desk, the pool staff, the valet staff.l, the pantry staff.

Cons:

I did not like that we requested extra items (blankets, towels and pillows) on both nights and they never came either night.
