Came for lunch, which was delicious! Jay Arman helped grab the car for us even though I lost the ticket and was so helpful.
Patrick and Jay in valet were so extremely helpful when I was in town for business! They were so polite and helped me figure out payment for my oversized vehicle in valet and made sure I was taken care of!
Absolutely the best service!
Excellent hotel pool area fantastic loved fire pits at night
Nothing
After the renovation the Marriott became our favorite hotel to stay in San Diego. We loved its resort atmosphere and feeling. We loved foods options and amenities. We loved the welcoming staff. Not anymore! This year everything we loved about this hotel was gone. Limited food options and lower quality of food especially from Marina Kitchen. Rude staff at Exchange and valet desk. One day we waited almost 30 minutes to get our car. At least the views from our rooms didn’t change but I can get these views from the newly renovated Grand Hyatt. I prepaid for guaranteed early check in but only got one out of two rooms booked 45 minutes after arriving at the hotel. We were asked to change rooms to go to a lower floor because the connecting rooms on the floor that we were given at check in had some sort of issues. We were moved the next day to a higher floor but next to the elevator that you can hear going up and down. We will give the Grand Hyatt another try next time we are in San Diego. We will check their new rooms.
Had two nights booked. My stomach sunk as I arrived to find an airport-length line at check in. After an exhausting day, I waited in this long line to find that they cancelled my reservation. No explanation. No attempt to contact me. They rebooked me, a 52 yo with no kids, at the Gaylord water park in Chula Vista!!! Not even in San Diego. Hard beds, smelled like mold even though it’s new, presumably because most occupants are soaking-wet 6 year olds. Of all the hotels I have stayed in the last year, this is the absolute worst experience and one of the worst of my life. The hotel comped one night but it does not make up for this. Calling Marriott luxury is a joke. I would prefer a Holiday Inn. I will never book a Marriott again.
All ok
Pool was a little bit dirty
Location was great! Beautiful views of the San Diego Bay
The food at breakfast and service was excellent
Marina the house cleaning was so wonderful very nice and welcoming
I think the pool area had too many kids! Very crowded
Also the elevators were not all working so get up or down from top floors took like 20 minutes
Andres and Jay A were so helpful! Thankful for your great valet team! Valet makes a huge difference in the stay and I’m super appreciative of how helpful they were.
Jay Arman at the Marriott Marquis Valet provided above and beyond service. Helped me avoid a check out meltdown.
Jay is super kind and helpful! Made me smile!
We stayed at the Marriott and found ourselves needing help with parking. Jay Arman was very helpful. He was professional and knowledgeable, he was able to answer our questions. Jay was courteous as well. We always appreciate when employees know what they are doing, and are friendly.
Jay Arman was very helpful with my lost ticket. It’s crazy weekend at comic con and I was worried. Thanks Jay!
This hotel is beautifully located on the marina, so the view is incredible. I stayed in the North tower where there is a balcony in every room. Audrey at the front desk was so kind and helpful! There was a concert happening at the Rady Shell amphitheater one night of my stay so I had the bonus of sitting out on my balcony and listening at night.
Omar from camper was fantastic. Professional and courteous.
