Disappointed for the price paid.
Pros:

Not much. I did like the use of the in suite kitchen.

Cons:

The place needs a serious update. They say Breakfast is included, no breakfast. The rooms are lacking some of the things mentioned in the ad. The photos are outdated. The photos are not current. No working fireplaces.

Didn’t stay there for 5 minutes. Room smelled of smoke!
Pros:

Nothing.

Cons:

The room smelled like smoke. There were people hanging out in the parking lot smoking. The place is closing Monday and all the tenets needed to leave by Monday. It was like low income housing. We canceled our stay and went down the street to the Marcel, which was lovely.

Pleasant
Pros:

Location was good. While there is nothing walking distance it is just a short drive to downtown. People in office seemed nice and switched our room right away when first one was not ready. Any issues we had were not to do with staff. And had it not been the last night we were there, I am sure the would have tried to give us a new room if it was available.

Cons:

The grounds are not smoke free and our last night someone was smoking **t outside and it FILLED our room ALL night. The AC was not working but could not open the patio door for air because of the smoke. Also patio door didn't latch/lock and only "locked" with a bar crossed it.

Poor
Pros:

There were clean towels, at least.

Cons:

This property was not as advertised. It is getting ready to close and has not been maintained. Dirty carpet, peeling paint in shower, no breakfast and lobby area was unavailable even to have a conversation with a friend.

Ugh
Pros:

I guess the fact that I didn't get bedbugs is a plus.

Cons:

Cigarette smells, floor was wet, staff weren't helpful, fold out couch mattress looked like a murder scene with cigarette burns.

Avoid at all costs.
Pros:

We were given 'the penthouse suite' without booking it. It was on the top floor of a two-level building and had 2 bedrooms, one in an upper loft and 2 bathrooms. A living room and kitchen area. Easy access off major highway. Staff was friendly and always spoke to you. It was only $120 a night, but you get what you pay for!

Cons:

The check-in process took way too long, 20 minutes for us. Only 1 person to check a lot of people in at check-in time. There was a $400 security deposit on the room we were assigned, but only charged $200, because we didn't book the 'penthouse'. The rugs were stained and dirty, the sofa smelled like urine, one of the locks on the door was broken. It is in a weird place in town, close to the water but also areas that look sketchy- trash on the street everywhere, boarded up homes/businesses, homeless/vagrants hanging out. Another visitor said the place was getting ready to be turned in to senior/ low-income housing.

A side from the customer service manager, my stay was satisfaction.
Cons:

I used two different credit cards at checkout at check-in because I was told I did not have money to cover the security. My concern was that the security refund amount showed up on one card, whereas the amount was taken out on the second card. This caused some confusion with my bank accounts. I called to find out if I had been charged on both cards, because one was saying a refund, whereas the other was showing a debit. Trying to explain the situation to the manager, who questioned my integrity and was unprofessional, shouting and yelling that the security refund was returned on the first card, and since my name was on both, it should not have been a problem. I called back later to say I did get the refund, but the manager refused to come to the phone; instead, she told the receptionist to say she was gone for the day. My goal was not to start confusion, I just wanted clarification on how a different bank credit card transaction could be debited to another bank credit card.

I will never stay there again.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable. The size of the room was nice. The bathroom in the hotel lobby was so much better than the one located in the room.

Cons:

Everything. The hotel had a very bad odor. The bathroom was very low to the ground. The tv did not work properly. The carpet is old, the furniture is old and so is the plumbing. Everything in the place is in desperate need of an upgrade.

Don't stay here!!
Pros:

Worse experience ever! First of all, we when checked in and got into the room, the room smelled like marijuana. We were grocery shopping and the front desk called me to tell me that we needed to change rooms because she gave us the wrong room. I told her we were grocery shopping and that we wouldn't be able to come back for an hour. She asked if she could go in and move our stuff to a new room. I told her no. When we got back, we stopped by the office to see about our room change. We got our new room assignment and headed back to our original room to move our stuff. Our door was wide open!! A tennant approached us and told us he used his key card to get into the room and when he saw our stuff in there, he left and left the door open.

The next morning, I noticed that this place charged my bank card the full price of the stay plus a hold fee - even though we signed up through a 3rd party. So - we had to meet with the assistant manager on duty to get the charges dropped from our bank account (on a Friday). The money did not show up in our bank account until the following Tuesday.

When we checked out on 5/12, the lady at the front desk just told us to leave our key cards in the basket. We were not given a receipt, and I did not receive an email.

Later on 5/12/25, I noticed 3 charges from the facility on my bank account, totaling $2,200!! I contacted the facility and left a message at the front desk. I called back a few minutes later and demanded to speak to the manager, and was transferred to voice mail. I left a lengthy voicemail. I also emailed the contact email .

I then received a phone call from the manager and explained what had happened. I forwarded my previous email to the manager's actual email.

I have not heard back from him yet.

Also - went to get fresh towels and only got 2 towels - no wash cloths available.

The fireplace does not work - fake advertisement.

No silverware in this unit.

The vents were dirty. The toilet seat had no screws on it.

Not a good experience at all.
