Location is great. Close to many restaurants with a good one right in the hotel. It was very clean and noise was pretty minimal. Service was excellent. Pool and outdoor hot tub is great. Unfortunately the indoor hot tub remains out of service. The pool area could really use a refresh. Waterfall area doesn't function and the fake rocks are in disrepair. The hotel itself could really use a freshening up. Quite outdated.
The pool was nice
Our room didn't have a microwave, but front desk staff had one brought to our room quickly which was greatly appreciated
Mentioned that our room didn't have a microwave @ check in & 10 mins after we got settled in the manager knocked on the door with a microwave for our dog's food. I was impressed. We will definitely stay there again.
Toilet seat had major flexibility Crack every time you sit on it pinches your skin let me with pinche torn bleeding skin
Nto ti mentione that is very un sanitary, there's no way it can be disinfectant properly-- Room 315
Great Location
Both hot tubs were not in working order and Saturday night, the pool was closed early
Nothing just a very below average facilities
He microwave would’ve been nice to warm up some food and drink. Very poor coffee facilities.
Tolle Lage, Pools und Spa
Sehr gute Lage
This room furnishings were newer than some of the other rooms we have stayed in at this hotel, so we had high hopes. However, we were unable to sleep, because the thermostat was broken, and they didn’t have anyone to fix it. At one point in the middle of the night, it was up over 80 degrees. (Despite being set at the lowest temperature allowed)
Indoor hot tub has been out of order over a year, many spots in the hotel have had the carpet removed and what’s left duct taped together.
The location is great. It needs a major investor to come in and put some money into it.
The Water Tower Inn is always accommodating for our Hockey team. They are organized and professional and we have been happy to stay there on many of our visits to Sault.
When we arrived our two rooms were not together but they quickly made sure that they were - we could not be adjoining but we were beside each other. They were very behind on cleaning rooms so we had to wait and did not get checked in until close to 4pm but they did give us breakfast coupons for this inconvenience and the rooms were very clean. Breakfast was delicious but I am very sad about how we were treated by restaurant staff like an inconvenience because we have 4 children it was nice to see their attitudes change when they realized they are well behaved children but it was upsetting and unnecessary until this point - very happy with rooms and pool area but will unlikely use the restaurant again for our stays
Shabby room - wall paper peeling everywhere. Paper thin walls. Very uncomfortable bed.
The facilities have seen better days.
Staff in the hotel and restaurant were amazing. $230 is overpriced for this experience.
The rooms are small and dated with old wallpaper that is peeling in some areas. Our bathroom was not the cleanest and visible dirt on the walls in the room.
The pool and hot tub area were quite nice.
It was nice having the restaurant in the hotel good food.
That the indoor hot tub was closed . I was on the 4th floor and it looked like renovations were happening the hallway carpet was ripped up.
Pool
The location, sauna, restaurant in the hotel
Our original room was really cold and didn’t have temperature control and had to be moved to a new room. Both of the saunas were not working. Advertised as an included breakfast for $10 which wasn’t true. Big charge on my credit card to start with.
Our experience here was terrible & disappointing. This hotel needs almost too many updates to name..but also I can’t not share & hope to spare others from making the mistake we did. First, the “spa” is a joke: the outdoor hot tub was closed, the indoor hot tub was empty & broken, the faux rocks falling apart. The elevator was broken, the walls paper-thin, the coffee shop espresso machine was broken, and carpet in our hall missing & “under construction.”
