What a nightmare! Under construction, lobby in shambles, section of town /location is too busy, noisy snd sketchy people hanging out in parking lot. Do not feel safe leaving my car overnight!
Room is tiny, cramped, poor layout no closet.
Breakfast will be a sack of prepacked food? Really ?!!!!!!
DO NOT STAY HERE.
No where when you book does it tell you this place is under renovations (apparently it is taking YEARS according to the reviews). I should have read the reviews first, but it's a Hilton property and I usually never have an issue. We had to go outside, down stairs, around a dirty sidewalk to the lower level, which was filthy, then up the elevators to our room. Digital key did not work. Rooms are very tiny. The room itself was clean and on the surface looked like maybe it had been recently renovated, but upon closer inspection, it was done a while ago. My card was charged (not just a hold - actually charged) upon check in for $76.26 OVER the room rate, which never happens. That was Tuesday night. I was told it would be corrected by the time we checked out on Wednesday morning. I am still waiting. I could understand the hold for "incidentals", but there weren't any available. Lobby was completely a mess, no breakfast available, the ice machine wasn't even plugged in on our floor, there was no minibar lol. The "pantry" wasn't available either, so what was I gonna charge extra to my room? And why such an odd amount???? Still waiting for explanations. Loved the close proximity to the Kirklin Clinic, but not sure about going back.
Well. The ac was great.
Under construction. Breakfast was a bagged thing. . Not good. . Always walking through drywall dust etc. Should have been told about the construction before check in. . Parking was difficult. We paid for 2 nights left at 6pm on before 2nd night.
Paid $163 dollars to stay here……worth about $50. Contractors working right outside our window, hotel front doors stayed wide standing open all day. Flies in the lobby, muffin and stale biscuit in a to-go sack , to much furniture in the tiny room. Done with Hampton Inn !!!
Nothing
Workers there all hours kept exterior doors propped open, old, dirty , under construction, bathroom no shampoo or soap, phone no cord, one towel that I’m pretty sure was dirty, hair on walls in shower and bathroom, mold, ac barely worked, no breakfast just gross
Location to downtown and staff were nice but overwhelmed with the active construction going on
No ice or breakfast and there’s no place near for reasonable priced breakfast. So had to go to my Dr. appointment hungry.
The employees were very nice and the room was a nice size.
The hotel is under construction there’s dirt and dust everywhere. There was a scaffolding right outside my window and there’s been no breakfast there since May 25. That’s one of the reasons why I picked Hampton Inn because my husband likes to get up early in the morning and get breakfast. The coffee was terrible.
Location
It was under renovation and from the enteance to the elevators it was a mess and dirty. We should have been notified on booking that it was under reno. We had to stay 3 days and even though we asked for towels etc on 2nd day we still had to find housekeeper and get our own. Dirty towels never picked up
Nice people
Renovation
Husband and I have stayed at this hotel 5 times since September, 2025. It is convenient to my surgeon’s office, family and friends. We had stayed at this location in 2008. When we returned in 2025, we were shocked at how rundown the hotel had become. We returned in March, April, May and June because I had follow up appointments with my surgeon. By our March stay, the hotel was a mess with renovations. Construction equipment lying around, empty drywall buckets, ice machines not working, generally just a mess. But, the employees were so nice and it was so convenient, so we continued to staying, hoping the renovations would become less bothersome. At our most recent stay this past week, the breakfast area of the lobby was completely closed off. The flooring at the entry and in the lobby was torn up, making walking dangerous because ai am still using a crutch after surgery. The front door remained opened during this visit. Workers smoked right outside the front door, despite no smoking signs.
At reception, a sign informed us breakfast was not available at the hotel due to renovations. Upon check out, I asked if we could be given additional honors points due to the lack of breakfast. The woman on duty rudely told me they had breakfast in a bag for guests, and pointed to a sign at the far end of the counter, which sat lower than the main counter. The sign could not be seen if you were standing at the main counter. I explained we are going by the sign that said breakfast was not available, no one had told us at check in about a breakfast bag, and we were not aware of that sign. The employee still argued with me that she didn’t care what I had read. I asked for a breakfast bag for my husband. if we could have a breakfast bag. It contained a bacon biscuit, a small apple, and a breakfast bar. No napkins, jelly, salt, butter, etc.
I was pissed off. They refused to honor my reservation through Booking.com. I was forced to find alternative accommodations at 9 PM
Literally felt like I was robbed…. The hotel is going through a complete renovation. Do not stay here!! Safety violations galore… As a gold member I would just like a clean safe room. However none of those expectations were met. No water at check in. Electrical wires exposed, safety doors broken… to give this establishment the Hilton badge is a complete slap in the face to its members and loyal guests.
I would very much appreciate a response from Hilton corporate.. Not the business.
Service was fine
Everything! Rooms were small and cramped. TV remote barley worked. Beds were subpar. Hotel is in a total mess.
Convenient to restaurants
The room was small
we stay 3 nights. Good service - sleep well, quiet. breakfast was good.
it was construction in site - but overall it doesn't bother too much.
