Baymont by Wyndham Cincinnati Sharonville

Breakfast was not great. The elevator was a little scary (one ride in particular it made a loud mechanical noise and jerked significantly that the drink in my hand splashed out half the cup.) The back wall when we come in the first day on our floor had something green growing on it - though I do think they got it painted before we left.

Our room smelled like mildew

Staff was ambivalent with regards to handicapped person. I'm in a wheelchair. I need 2 beds because of back and leg issues. The property only had ONE accessible room. Really...ONE? with a king bed?!
The room was already reserved by someone else and my request was ignored. They did put me on room near the lobby that DID fit a wheelchair... just barely but I could at least go to the bathroom.
They put me in a shower only room and got me a still that wasn't really steady enough to sit on, so no shower for me. They did try but I don't feel the protest is ADA compatible.
Also. One person working breakfast and check out so check out was not properly done.
I also had issues with them wanting me to check out and check back in because I added an additional night to my reservation. Then once it was discussed Three times: one by phone a week before. At check in and the morning of the additional stay they CALLED ME and said. Hey do you know your stuff is still in the room? I mean where is the communicating between then? Noon existent.

Well where to start? The room had many mechanical issues…the outlet by the bed looked like it had a fire, the one in the bathroom didn’t work, no hair dryer, metal sticking out of the unit that held the tv. It needed lots to be even close to ok.

Room had multiple issues with non working outlets, non working refrigerator, non working lights above night stand. Room had strong odor. No bath exhaust fan. No pool available.

I didn’t like that the tub didn’t have a stopper so I could give my son a bath, and I was sad that the pool wasn’t open

As we were checking in, there were people yelling in the hallways. When I asked the front desk associate what was happening she just pretended like she didn’t hear it. There was the same cars just circling the parking lot like they were prowling around. Smelled like cigarettes, everywhere. Breakfast was a joke. Charged WAY too much money for one night in an unsafe neighborhood . Would have left if we hadn’t already pre paid with no chance of refund. Very scary for a mom and young child.
