This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations! The area around seemed sketchy, but the hotel itself was extremely clean and the staff were friendly! My wife is very particular about staying in hotels and she took a wipe to the desk and it was cleaned! No dirt, no dust! If and when we are back in Austin, we will definitely be staying at this Hampton inn again! Really I had no bad reviews for this hotel with the only exception is that the beds were extremely hard, but it’s a hotel. I’d definitely recommend this hotel!

Clean and refreshing hotel with wonderful customer service and breakfast! *Be aware that it is a 20 minute walk to Riverwalk and a longer walk to market square,not 7 minutes! This needs to be fixed as it's not true!

Pros:

The hotel was mostly clean but definitely outdated. I did find hair on the shampoo bottle, which was unpleasant. The elevator needs attention, it felt bouncy and the button lights didn’t work, making it hard to tell if it was responding.
I didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast, but other guests spoke highly of it. The best part of the stay was the friendly and helpful customer service. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again.

Everything about this hotel was 5+! However the area surrounding the hotel was isolated and abandoned.
The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff were friendly and very helpful, there was security at night with bright lighting in the parking light. The breakfast was warm, delicious and the dining area clean and well stocked. Check in and check out was very quick and the staff friendly and helpful. The proximity to I-35 was very convenient. It was just the area around the hotel that was lacking. We would stay there again for the convenience, value, and favorable experience.

The hotel was very clean as well as the room! They had great breakfasts and I liked that they started breakfast at 6am as I had to travel a little distance during my stay and it was nice to be able to eat before starting my day.
