The fact that it was closed and rooms where being ripped apart and stuff everywhere, no one informed me that it was closed so we had no where to stay. Then they have the balls to charge me for a no show!!!!

we had a room booked and we got there to check in and the hotel was tore all to pieces closed and no one was notified of this so had to try and scramble to find somewhere to stay where there is limited availability anyway during state fair would never book a room at this place again extremely unprofessional for this to have taken place. will probably never book with booking . com again either this should have never happened without someone being aware and making people aware of athis.

I booked a room at the Oyo hotel back in April and paid for it when I booked it. When we arrived at the hotel on September 12, we found it completely closed up with a we are closed sign in the window. Most of the rooms had doors that were left open and furniture Drug out there was painters tape around some windows and doors Making it look like a complete gut and remodel. We were left with no options for a room for the night and Oyo still has my money. We then later found out that the Oyo sold two or three weeks before we were to stay there.
I seem to be having a great bit of trouble getting my money refunded. Everyone seems to think that the place is still open.

Pros:

The hotel had been closed for at least several weeks if not a couple of months and was in complete disrepair. We had to get rooms in another city since none were available in town. Hotels.com didn't even know that it was closed. I'll never use Hotel.com again due to lack of assistance. Refund reqested and given.

What is worse is expedia sent emails asking aboutbthe check-in and the hotel sentcan email asking how thing werr then another email to share experience. Disspointed that the hotel was closed, more disapointed was expedia has no clue what is going on. Do better, all of you

Pros:

We showed up to check in and found out that the hotel was closed for business and had been sold a month prior and was going through a remodel. I was told my deposit would have to be refunded by hotels.com. and that they had no idea if i would be charged for the stay or not. After an hour and a half of jumping through hoops and being extremely hacked off hotels.com was able to snag the last room in town for me. I got no calls/ emails from oyo hotels, hotels.com or the new owners about the hotel closing. The bad thing is that i am booked at the same closed hotel the weekend after this and our state fair is going on meaning there is next to zero chance of me finding a room for next weekend and i was told just to wait to hear from us about that by hotels.com. i already have tickets and a whole weekend planned out but I'm suppoed to wait? Moral of the story, call the hotel and confirm your reservation prior to taking off on your trip. Thank god this weekend worked out, i dont feel so good about the next one working out.

Terrible experience! When we arrived the hotel was closed for some reason! They were emptying the rooms and the windows were papered over! We had no option but to drive home, 3 hours, after our concert at the State Fair! 😡

Guy at the front desk charged another $10 as a "service fee" . I was mislead as to the actual cost of the room. You should include the "service fee" into the price quoted

The bathroom was absolutely disgusting it looked like it had not been cleaned in a very long time I ended up cleaning the entire bathroom before I could even use the toilet or take a shower

Price was good for a quick 2 night stay with no hotel downtime. But I would never stay here again.

Cons:

Everything was old and stained. Door didn't lock properly. Extra chain was broken. Towels had holes. Lots of cigarette burns on everything.

Property charged me significantly more than the advertised price by adding an add on charge at check in. The price you see is not the price you pay here. What a scam. Property is rundown with maintenance issues. No amenities were offered. Pick another hotel.
