Small room with worn furniture and too many hidden fee
Cons:

Room was smaller than less expensive hotels. Paying for parking at a hotel is dumb. Fire alarm went off in middle of the night and information was not relayed well.

I like the location and the staff was nice

Cons:

Our shower and faucet pressure was very weak. I did let the front desk know about it and they radioed in a person to go fix it while we were gone. But what the problem was, was that we left for about 4 hours and came back, and nothing was fixed. I don’t even think maintenance went up there, even though they radioed them in. There was 4 of us, so showering was doable, but just annoying and not efficient.
Also, housekeeping did bring up towels, but they didnt make our beds. Which was surprising to us.

The did not sent me tge USD 50 of addtional charges that I have not used

I am writing regarding my recent stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Austin. In addition to the original cost of my reservation, I was charged approximately USD 50 in additional fees, apparently related to an incidental or temporary charge during my stay.

However, I have not yet received the refund of this amount. I would therefore like to ask for your assistance in confirming the status of this charge and the refund process.

Could you please let me know whether the USD 50 has already been processed for reimbursement and, if so, where or to which payment method the amount will be transferred? If the refund has not yet been processed, I would appreciate it if you could let me know what information or steps are required from my side to receive it.

Would not recommend or return.
Cons:

The staff was not very accommodating, our unit was extremely hot, and smelled as if something was burning -we had to move all of our items to another floor upon arrival and ended up being late to the event that we were in town for as a result. Also the pool was closed during our stay. Had we known this prior, we would have chosen a different property.

The facility was clean

Cons:

When I first arrived the system was down so I couldn't check in until a few hours later. Even still system was still down but they were manually checking people in on paper so they made some mistakes like giving people, me included occupied rooms. So they kept having to reassign rooms. Then the key cards wasn't working properly smh. A whole day wasted on trying to get everything situated so I could get comfortable and start my day. I came there for a weekend getaway, to relax and was irritated and regretted leaving home the whole stay.
