Pros:

This is a very beautiful hotel with excellent service and great facilities. Shout-out to the receptionist who gave us two fresh bottles of water at check-out without us asking for it!
The restaurant on-site is nice (though I wouldn’t recommend the salmon. The steak frites were good!)
I slept really well here - the beds were very comfy and cosy and it was very quiet.

Cons:

The shower needs an upgrade. Shower heads and getting rid of the curtains! It’ll be a perfect hotel once that’s done.

Paradise Oasis in busy Ottawa
Pros:

The central location was ideal for walking to attractions. The hotel was like a comfy little retreat, and the staff were so welcoming and helpful with everything and anything. The room was excellent and quiet, no noise transfer and yet the hotel was sold out. The Cocotte Bistro like the hotel made you feel special. Excellent getaway thanks to the Metcalfe and staff, certainly worth repeating.

Beautiful hotel, excellent service, and a fantastic downtown location.
Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful interior design, and great restaurants. The hotel is spotless, with spacious, comfortable beds and a well-equipped gym. Excellent location right in the heart of downtown, making it easy to explore the city on foot.

Cons:

The room could have benefited from better lighting. Parking is not included, which is a bit inconvenient.

Un des meilleurs hôtels que j’ai eu
Pros:

Il s’agit d’un des meilleurs hôtels où j’ai pu loger. Le personnel est très gentil, accueillant, et arrangeant. Ils sont tous aux petits soins.
Les chambres sont grandes et décorées avec du bon gout. Les équipements sont d’un très bon niveau.

Cons:

Le service de voiturier était un peu cher mais compte tenu du niveau de qualité, c’est un tout petit bémol. À noter que les personnes qui s’occupent des voitures sont également très gentils.

Looks very nice, feels a little overpriced.
Pros:

Very good location, very stylish and chic layout and feel. Restaurants are nice, if a bit pricey. Staff on site were pleasant and the concierge service (paid) is very useful.

Cons:

Was charged for a beverage from the minibar and customer service ghosted me twice. Not as many services or amenities as I might expect from a comparablely priced hotel in other parts of the world. Concierge service, while useful, probably wouldn't be worth it unless you can get it compensated someway, as there are alternative parking options if you're willing to walk a bit.

Compliments To Everybody Working In This Hotel
Pros:

That was the best hotel stay in the first 4 weeks of our Canada trip! Central location, very friendly staff, the excellent French bistro, and our wonderful, warm and spacious corner room with city view on floor 4... Stylish decoration, high quality material and the turndown service who noting (from my medical products in open view) that I had a bad cold never forgot to put a glass of water on the bedside table next to my pills... I am much impressed...

Cons:

I missed a hand-held shower head but I understand that this would not quite match the double shower concept used here.

Conveniently located, comfortable hotel.
Pros:

I liked the inside of the hotel with the atrium. The room was comfortable and the staff were very helpful.

Cons:

I would have appreciated extra storage (drawers) and had to ask for more hangars.
