La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham St. Pete-Clearwater Airpt

Room needs to be more clean, the bathroom needed to be cleaner, and improve. It is e old building i guess.

The WIFI was down and the fitness room was unavailable for the whole duration (4 nights). These two elements were very important for me, so I was disappointed.

The Breakfast was good and they kept things clean

this property need fix, they had mold in the window.

We did not stay. There was a cockroach on the couch bed and it wa stained with dirty sheets.

The staff is awesome!

The pool needed a little cleaning and the hotel smelled like marijuana. Other than that it was clean and quiet. We didn’t bring our dog This trip but since Windham took over he now have to pay a Pet fee.

This hotel I believe is going through a remodel. We walked in and the musk smell was terrible. There was mold in the bathrooms and throughout the room. We stayed in this hotel 6yrs ago and it was nothing like this. We walked out and got another hotel. Luckily, the hotel and hotels.com agreed to give us a refund.

The staff deserves 5 stars, courteous and hospitable at all times, the breakfast was pretty decent compared to other hotels, however, the facilities and cleanliness could be better.

Elevator was broken, no chairs by the pool, AC was so so.
I think they are going through the start of renovations.
It would have been nice to know that prior to arriving.

There was no daily cleaning of the room or replacement of shampoo or redoing the bedsheets. In addition, the elevator was not in working progress, which required to have to go up and down the stairs every day.

The elevators weren’t working and the pool was very dirty. They have no smoking signs in the pool area, but I was there with my young daughters and several people were smoking, and no one from the hotel said anything to them.

There’s a lot that can be done to improve this place, starting off with the exterior. Every air conditioner unit was dripping onto the window of the rooms below. You talked a walk around the building and every condenser has an orange stain from the constant drip. This caused the window from our room on the 2nd floor to leak, as the track was full of water. Also the front area is just overridden with cigarette butts ( right by their no smoking signs )

We switched rooms once because when we went in the carpet around the air conditioner was soaked. Weather this was from the drip above or from the unit itself. They did switch us rooms, but the second one had its own issues as well. From yellow spots on the ceiling above the bed, to the corners of the baseboards peeling away, and more water in the window which had leaked onto the Sheetrock and shown obvious signs of distress.
While it did accommodate our needs, the photos can be misleading based on perception and availability. The staff did do their best to accommodate us, but the building itself really needs to be maintained better

A great place to stay…still under renovation from the hurricane. But everything was nice.
