OASIS in the heart of Chennai
Pros:

We chose the Trident Hotel for its position of being near the airport after making the mistake of booking a previous hotel further from the airport. Arriving at the Hotel we were greeted by the manager and staff. We were quickly checked in and we were struck by the design and cleanliness of the foyer. Our room was very pleasant with all amenities and a very quiet an effective air conditioning unit . The breakfast was a delight of choices for all tastes . Indian and European dishes side by side they even offered crispy and soft bacon , all served up in an immaculately clean area. The Gardens to the hotel were stunning, and the pool side beds were very comfortable . Nearby is a very charming spa offering well priced massages and treatments. All in all, it is a wonderful place to stay if you are visiting Chennai .

Unmatched hospitality - kindest in the city!

My parents have been staying at Trident Chennai for years and this time I had the pleasure of joining them for a short visit to Chennai. As a hospitality professional, service was impeccable and consistent throughout. I really want to highlight energy of Shohini and Bhoomi from Front Office, and highly appreciate the hardwork and charm of Siva and Chengai from F&B - such a pleasure to be in their service, all four had a wonderful charm to them, beautiful smiles and always ready to help - actually nearly everyone we saw was the same but these four definitely had a spark and shined brighter than everyone else with the passion they have for their work. Hospitality at Trident has been consistently great. I see other reviews speaking of how it’s an old property and they need upgrades and to that I’d say the service and overall experience is unmatchable within Chennai and if it is the building that is your priority, you may want to check out other properties but if an experience with polite people hosting you sounds better - Trident, Chennai is the best in the city. My family and I always have and will always stay at Trident whenever we visit Chennai. Many thanks to the team! And kudos to the management for keeping the staff happy - it’s nice to see the brand appreciate their most important asset!

Trident is an exceptional place to stay. The facilities are excellent. The staff is what makes this place stand out. They were friendly and ever willing to assist. Their "can do" attitude is noticeable and appreciated. Thank you Bhoomi, Laxman, Shravan and maybe others who made this a delightful stay

Special recognition to our Bihari girl, Laxmi. When the saying of 1 Bihari is like a 100, is not simply a saying: its the Word. Arushi and Priya bring grace to any and every situation. Karann clever, bright and astute Akash...pure hospitality. In any situation you have it covered if these guys are around. Yes, the Trident has luxury, no doubt. It is their staff. Thats the secret sauce.

A place to return.
Pros:
