Exceptional from the minute we arrived, outstanding facilities although we were unable to make full use due to the brevity of our stay!

The hotel is an old design with ageing infrastructure, but all superbly maintained so that the stay is first class in all aspects. The staff are exceptionally well trained and engaging, it is an absolute pleasure to interact with them. Melanie and Abhishek at reception and Vignesh in the valet service made sure I was supported in all ways, going out of the way to suggest alternative solutions. The room service was fantastic, the taste and presentation of the food was really unexpectedly great and Sai in the inroom dining team ensured that every unusual request I had was fulfilled meticulously. The look and feel of the entire place is completely retro and makes you want to return as soon as possible! While the surrounding area is lacking in markets and restaurants, the hotel more than makes up for it by its proximity to the airport and by its great connectivity into town.

At the start of our stay with trident we were warmly welcomed with buttermilk, after our smooth check in (exceptionally hospitable staff) we went to our room. It was excellent, there was sooo much space and amenities, and surprisingly clean, wifi was also very good. Breakfast WAS AMAZING, the staff were extremely friendly, and always checking in when we needed something. Talking about amenities the housekeeper Ashutosh was exceptional, every time he comes into our room to get laundry he always cleaned it exceptionally well and returned on time.
A”Despite of high traffic the location is superb as it is close by to the airport and has amazing access to uber pick ups. The hotel offer one way airport transport, which was extremely helpful as it saved money and time as well as reducing stress about timings.
We stayed in trident for 5 days with my teens and my mum. The value for money is over the top, this hotel is full of exceptional staff, food, menu.

The propety was very convenient, especially with easy access to the airport. The staff are very professional, they helped us with loading /unloading luggages, and easily reached the airport on time without any hassle! The room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained!

Great staff, warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. Well maintained and a beautiful property with lovely Tanjore paintings, interiors done with taste. Absolutely no noise inside the rooms despite being so close to the airport. Restaurant - cinnamon was nice although I could not visit the other one, as it opens only for dinner. Airport is a 10 minute drive.

Manas and Alina are wonderful people , very helpful and attentive all the time , enjoyed the experience and surely be back

I had the pleasure of staying at Trident Chennai for 14 days, and overall, it was a truly pleasant, comfortable, and memorable experience.

What stood out the most was the warmth and hospitality of the entire team. Everyone was exceptionally courteous, polite, professional, and welcoming. They made me feel less like a hotel guest and more like a family member. Every interaction was handled with genuine care and a smile.

A special mention to some of the wonderful team members whose names I remember:

- Chef Narayan – for his excellent food and warm hospitality.
- Ewanshu Mishra – from the F&B team, always courteous and helpful.
- Nandu – F&B – for his wonderful service and attention to detail.
- Abhijeet – Front Desk & Guest Coordinator – exceptionally helpful, professional, and always ready to assist with a Smile on his face.
- Ashutosh – Housekeeping – did a fantastic job and ensured that everything was comfortable and well maintained.

I sincerely apologize to the many other team members whose names I may not remember, because each and every person I interacted with was exceptional. The team truly deserves appreciation for creating such a welcoming atmosphere.

❤️ A Surprise I Will Remember Forever

One of the most special moments of my stay was celebrating my 5th Wedding Anniversary at Trident Chennai.

The team surprised us by beautifully decorating our room and arranging a gorgeous anniversary cake. It was such a thoughtful and heartfelt gesture that genuinely touched us.

It wasn't just the decoration or the cake—it was the effort, thoughtfulness, and personal touch behind the surprise that made it so special.

This is a memory that my wife and I will cherish forever. ❤️

🍽️ Food & Dining

The food was absolutely delicious. The buffet dinner was particularly impressive, with a great selection and excellent taste. It was something I genuinely looked forward to during my stay.

The breakfast was also very good in terms of quality and taste. My only small suggestion would be to introduce a little more variety in the breakfast menu, especially for guests staying for several days, as some items tend to remain similar.

Apart from that, the overall dining experience was excellent.

✈️ The Best Room View!

One of the highlights of my stay was the room and its spectacular airport view. I was fortunate to have a room from where I could watch planes taking off and landing at Chennai Airport.

For me, this was much more than just a view. After a stressful and tiring day at work, sitting in the room and watching the planes was incredibly calming, refreshing, and rejuvenating. It became one of my favourite parts of the stay.

There was something very peaceful about simply sitting back, watching the aircraft movements, and unwinding after a long day.

🌟 Overall Experience

A 14-day hotel stay can sometimes feel long, but thanks to the wonderful people at Trident Chennai, it felt extremely comfortable and homely.

The combination of excellent hospitality, courteous staff, delicious food, comfortable rooms, great service, the beautiful airport view, and the unforgettable anniversary surprise made my stay truly special.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended!

I love everything about the hotel. Cant find any reason for not selecting this hotel for future stay. The food, people, cleanliness of the room, ambience, thw sunrise gifts, all were 10 out of 10

The staff were super polite and totally delivered on their promises. They checked in with me before I arrived to go over my plans and even offered suggestions proactively. I didn't have a single bad experience that made me unhappy. Secondly, clean environment, facilities and good food!

There so many good things to explore people at reception and people at food section and especially club lounge Manas and Aleena their hospitality and making varieties of paani puri chat and guiding drinks and providing their services. I really thanks them very much for their service.

The attention to detail and the level of care is unmatched.
