Zeer goede kamer en parking voor de wagen. Ontbijt viel tegen
Pros:

Zeer goede kamer, zeer goed bed en kussens, rustige locatie, grote parking

Cons:

Ik had betaald voor ontbijt, maar dat bleek enkel 1 sandwich of croissant te zijn met een koffie. Dat viel heel erg tegen. Ik heb er uiteindelijk nog een Greek yoghurt bij gekregen. Het fruit dat ik vroeg moest ik bij betalen.

Well lit room can sometimes disrupt sleep
Pros:

Staff friendly. Parking plentiful. Room size good. Like that sink area outside shower / toilet area.

Cons:

#1- location is a bit awkward.... next to a deserted mall on "Fashion Square Dr."
#2- EVERY room has motion detection lights in the entrance area and the sink area. If you use the toilet area during the night these lights automatically come on, flooding the room with light. Disturbing to any partner that might still be trying to sleep during the night. Not a fan.

Pros:

Room 118. Two night stay. 3rd of six hotels stayed in during our visit to USA. Decent sized room on ground floor. Two double beds. Decent WiFi and AC. Walk in shower with wc. Wash basin in separate area of room. Decor good. Clean bathroom. Remote location. No housekeeping if two day stay or less. No safe in room. Very average.

Disappointed, very disappointed..
Pros:

The room was clean and spacious.

Cons:

There were several hidden charges which disturbed us. The website says breakfast but then two cups of coffee and two microwaved breakfast sandwiches cost us $30. As I reviews my bill, I saw I was charged $10. A night for parking. WT actual F?? Very disappointing.. we travel often and just recently began using Marriotts. NEVER AGAIN will we stay at a courtyard.. we are in a Townplace Suites by Marriott today and what a difference. The rooms are like little apts, complete with kitchen , plenty of closet space and FREE full breakfast. And the base room price is about 40 less. Ridiculous! NEVER AGAIN..

Friendly staff and good location
Pros:

We stayed here for UVA graduation 2026. It provided everything we needed - easy distance to UVA, clean and quiet rooms, plenty of parking. Austin did a fabulous job of getting us checked in early and April was super friendly and attentive in the Bistro. We really appreciated how they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and appreciated as Marriott customers!

Nice room but Poor design and amenities
Pros:

The room was very nice, clean and well appointed and only a short drive from the university and downtown. The hotel building is poorly designed and is a maze to navigate. The elevator is located at the opposite end of the hotel from the front desk!There is no free breakfast and the bistro food consists of microwaved breakfast sandwiches that are outrageously overpriced.

Pros:

Hotel was clean. Our courtyard balcony was missing the chair and Janice made sure we got not one but 2 chairs.
Hate that there is no coffee service at this hotel and your only choice is Starbucks. Yes I don't trust the coffee makers in the room. Also would be nice if there was a choice for firmer pillows.

April is wonderful! We’d stay here again!
Pros:

We had the pleasure of April’s bartending services! She was friendly, efficient and helpful as we enjoyed a football game . She was attentive throughout our evening. April represents Marriott’s commitment to a positive, enjoyable stay.

The front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful. The lobby is inviting and comfortable.

Above and Beyond
Pros:

I arrived late on Friday night and Bahieh Musa was there to greet me. She showed much kindness and generosity not only to me, but also to another guest who needed a lot of help getting inside and to their room. Bahieh went above and beyond to ensure this guest was safe while also making sure the start to my stay went off without a hitch.

Regular guest. Stop by bistro in the mornings for breakfast.
Pros:

Always great service from Bahieh! Pretty decent breakfast burrito too. Food choices are limited but I understand that is by design to streamline service and operations.
