A perfect base from which to explore the lovely town of Valladolid and to visit Chichen Itza.
Pros:

Amazing breakfast - including good coffee and a very extensive menu from which you can order as much as you like (the french toast in particular was gorgeous). Perfect location. Very comfortable room with a great shower. Lovely staff.

Cons:

The 'terrace' adjoining our room was really just a small internal lightwell - but there was plenty of beautiful communal space so not a problem for us.

Perfect stay in Valladolid, would definitely book it again.
Pros:

Everything. From the staff, the property itself, the room, everything is amazing. I would 100% recommend it. Its the most beautiful accomodation we had in Mexico, definitely worth a visit. The bar and restaurant are also a huge plus. The location is central enough to be in walking distance from the city center. The staff is very professional, helped us with laundry service, very friendly. Internet was good enough for working. The rooms are equiped with AC and with a fan. Book this accomodation, it’s worth it.

Desde q llegas te hacen sentir incómodo porque te explican todas las prohibiciones, todo lo q si haces te pueden hacer pagar. Te dan a firmar 6 páginas.
Son totalmente estrictos con la hora de entrada a la habitación, auqnue llegues con 30 m de antelación. Al hotel le falta mucho mantenimiento y limpieza. La habitación bastante sucia. Zona de desayunos también. El baño la tapa del inodoro no abre entera así q cuando te sientas te da en la espalda. Toallas sucias y viejas. Servicio desayuno lento, tenerlo en cuenta si os van a recoger para una excursión.

A little paradise

The property is exceptional. We travel a lot, but the attention to detail and the care put into this place are indescribable. It truly is a corner of paradise. The property is beautiful and the cuisine is very good. Everyone should try to have this experience. 🌴✨

Bon hotel mais attention au parking !
Pros:

L'hôtel est trés beau. Bien placé. Le restaurant et le petit déjeuner sont bons. Le personnel agréable.

Cons:

Le parking ! A fuir ! Il prend l'eau, si bien que notre séjour a viré au cauchemar car nous avons eu une pluie diluvienne un soir pendant 2h et notre voiture s'est retrouvée submergé ainsi que celle d'un autre couple qui séjournait à l'hotel ! L'hotel n'a pas d'assurance et les assurances de location auto ne couvrent pas ce risque au Mexique donc nous avons dû payé 34000 pesos de frais (1700 euros)... Cela nous a pris la journée à attendre en plein soleil et nous n'avons même pas eu un verre d'eau pour au moins avoir un semblant de compassion...
Les réceptionnistes étaient navrés mais la manager n'a même pas essayé de nous aider... Bref... comportement plus que limite pour un hotel qui se veut de cette trempe...

Pros:

Struttura accogliente in stile coloniale a pochi passi dal centro, ma la parte migliore è il personale, soprattutto lo staff della reception!

Cons:

Nell’edificio a fianco ci sono molti cani rumorosi che abbaiano spesso e litigano tra di loro, essendo il patio dell’hotel aperto a volte si sentono.

Beautiful patio, lots of plants and very nice breakfasts! Great bartender!

Cons:

The hotel overall needs to be renovated. It was too expensive for the quality we got. The room was very dark and old, TV was not working properly, missing some channels even though they were mentioned on provided channels list.
But the worst was the situation during check-out. The most unpleasant experience which casted shadow on our whole stay. The receptionist brought a towel from our room, which had small stains from a taco sauce and showed it to me in the middle of the hotel main hall! Said very loudly next to other guests that “madam we have a problem” and showed me the stains. I explained they are from taco sauce. He then went to check if the stains will go away, if not I was supposed to pay for the towel. It was humiliating! And never before in my entire life have I had a problem with stains on a towel in a hotel!
The stains went away and when he came back he was smiling again - but the bitter taste remains.

Would probably look elsewhere if choosing again.
Pros:

Pretty property in a convenient location for the centre of Valladolid.
Friendly staff.

Cons:

Pack of dogs constantly barking in a neighbouring garden.
Poor quality pillows.
Old towels that are frayed at the edges.
Uncomfortable bed.
You have to sign a form to say you’ll pay for any sheets if they’re stained in any way, and you’re asked not to leave the hotel until your room is checked over.
