Germaine Inn South Portland

It is a kind of quiet area, could not find some restaurant. There is a bar nearby, but it is not our style. So we stayed at hotel and grab snack at gas station.

Plenty of lighted parkings. Scrambled egg shaped like pancakes.. not very tasty. Otherwise, variety to select from.

We were down to see a concert so we just needed someplace overnight. Germaine fit our needs just fine. Nothing fancy, but clean and very comfortable beds. Excellent value as was the least expensive option of many.

Inside was great, the parking lot had a lot of trash and there was a hypodermic needle among the trash. Again, staff, inside and stay was exceptional. Thank you

Heated pool was awesome. Restaurant very good! Was clean except for the areas being renovated. The staff was not so friendly.

No water bottles in the room, and very few options for continental breakfast. Clean rooms and comfy beds.

This property has big rooms with all amenities. Buffet breakfast is very good and suitable for travelers. Elevator is very convenient for those on upper floors. Not much food wise within walking distance but much within a short drive. Overall I could recommend this hotel.

Hotel was under renovation. There was an open bag of garbage in the parking lot during our 2 night stay. Was still there when we left.

Elderly family member stayed for early morning medical appointment. I asked desk staff if she could schedule a taxi pickup. Her response was to give ME the phone number of the local taxi. Room had no alarm clock. Had to go but one at local Walgreens. Room had no tissues. They brought us a 'travel size' box of tissues.

Bathtub had some hairs, but other than that, the rest of the room was clean

We loved our stay. The pool was warm. Breakfast did have some options. Its a great location and close to everything.

The floors in our room were sticky. We asked for cleaning service and it didnt get provided. Positive was the beds and pillows were super comfortable.

Good place

The water temperature never got warm. We were told that is just their waters temperature. We discovered blood on the bottom of the sheets. Asked for new sheets, they never came. Finally had to go to the front desk to get them and strip the bed ourselves. Cheap option but not completely worth the savings.

It was convenient right off the highway. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly

Clean and comfortable room to stay a couple days to visit Portland Maine area. Would recommend. Plenty of free parking on site.

Bathroom door knob was broken, giant hairball on the shower wall, washer And dryer broken, dirty floor turned our white socks brown, reservation for 4 but only towels for 2, no haircare products (shampoo and conditioner) in bathroom, signage to find amenities like the pool were either nonexistent or hard to find, pool was fun but no big deal. Not impressed for $300 a night! I’ve had perfect stays at other hotels for $89 a night! Never coming back!
