The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean!
I don't like that they are only double beds... They aren't quite big enough for 2 people comfortably and then you're sleeping separately from your partner. Some people may enjoy that I personally do not. Queen beds would be nicer.

Clean and friendly staff
The staff was extremely kind and helpful, room was very clean, pool and hot tub were very cozy. We loved the oldness of the building but how well it was kept! Will for sure be going back to stay there again!

The bathroom is two small in rooms and the floor gets wet when getting a shower.
We had a great time at Howard Johnson’s on ocean city boardwalk. There is a lot to do here, beautiful views and great staff! The hot tub and indoor pool was great on the rainy day, and during the hours when the sun was really high. The rooms were clean, affordable and comfortable and quiet for the most part. When the sliding door was open, you could hear plenty of excited children on the beach.
The location was great and the direct boardwalk access was very convenient. It was also nice to have free, convenient parking. Staff were helpful, friendly, and communicative. The room was clean.
This is very much a beach hotel with limited amenities. The room was very small and cramped, and we had the unfortunate luck of getting one that faced the area where the employees of the restaurant next door smoked and took their breaks, which means that it was very loud late into the night and often smelled like smoke.
