It was not worth the cost of $174
Pros:

The air conditioning was nice

Cons:

Under construction. We asked for a crib and they said they couldn’t provide it because of the construction.
Our bathroom shower had hair stuck to the wall from the previous people. It was not very clean

The mattress was too hard.

The breakfast was lacking fruit and protein options. Nothing but carbs

Pros:

Overall, the hotel is a good stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean, and the location is great. The bed isn’t very comfortable, but not horrific. My main issue was the shower was not clean. There were multiple hairs and something on the shower wall. Everything else appeared clean, but I was pretty upset to find a dirty shower.

Fantastic experience and clean
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn! Our room was very clean and you could tell it was well cared for and truly “well-loved.” The hotel is currently going through upgrades, and it’s clear the team is pouring their heart into every detail to make it even better for guests.

The staff was fantastic across the board, but India especially stood out — she was over-the-top professional, genuinely kind, and incredibly helpful. Her customer service made our stay feel extra welcoming.

Breakfast was really yummy with a great selection to start the day. We’re already looking forward to our future stays here. Highly recommend!

Felt like family!
Pros:

Stayed at Hampton Inn Rocky Mount and had a really great experience thanks to the staff.

Germany at the front desk was super welcoming and kind, which made check-in easy after a long day. In the morning, Robin handled breakfast completely on her own and did an amazing job :) everything ran smoothly and she was so pleasant the entire time.

You can tell this place really values hospitality. The people here make the stay feel warm and comfortable. Would definitely stay again! :)

I was extremely annoyed that we were given a smoking room. I had difficulty falling asleep. Supposedly, it was requested by the booking company. Hard to believe. I had tried booking directly as a Hilton Honor customer but had been unsuccessful at the time.
