Great staff and breakfast, comfortable bed.
Bathroom needs updating. Toilet to low, trouble getting in and out of shower. Not enough light in room after dark.
We've used this Best Western three years in a row. Year 1 graded A, Year 2 graded B, and year 3 a C-. The last two years our room was so musty, so Humid, we were shocked. Last year They brought in a smaller De-humidifier, then a large one and that cured the problem. This year we wound up with several smaller De-humidifiers. It was better but still musty. Also, I have COPD, and need a chair or bench in the Tub, as I can't stand during a shower. They did put one in, BUT, it collapsed when I first sat on it!
Fortunately, I didn't break any bones, but I was stiff for a few days. Also, I noticed I was being charged $150 for what? It turns out the were going to charge me a Pet fee, even though we didn't have a pet!
On the Plus side, ANDI, the main person I delt with, was as helpful as she could be. It's not her fault the place had a Humidity problem and the chair was faulty, and even getting charged for a Pet fee which she found and was eliminated.
Not sure what we'll do next year.

Very positive experience at Best Western St. Paul North/Shoreview. Clean, comfortable, quiet room, continuous running fan option so there is no "on- off" sounds of heat or AC to disturb by sleep, easy on-off close to 694, unusually good hot breakfast with many choices and freshly cut fresh fruit. Very nice staff. Price was less than comparable hotels in the area. Good exercise room and pool. I definitely recommend it and will come again.
The hotel is very clean, the staff have excellent communication and attention to detail, the beds were soooo comfy.
Cold showers and cold hot tub. No answer at the front desk. Stay away from this place.
Great hotel, we are planning to stay here again next Summer when in town for the Street Machine Nationals
A disappointing experience, especially after reading the previous positive reviews.
Pro: It's clean with a lot of parking; it's an older property.
Con: No hot water in sink, even after running tap for 5+ minutes; shaving was an adventure. No hot water in shower, either although shower would get lukewarm; the sink water never warmed up.
Breakfast was sparse. And while the room was a good size, the arrangement putting the bed right next to AC-was poor, as fan just blew air on the bed all night.
Our room smelled musty.
One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. Super clean, lovely courtyard, exceptionally friendly staff. Good breakfast. Will stay here every time I come to town.

Vents in room covered in old dust, you could see bed was caved in, old & uncomfortable, I found a dead ladybug under the sheets, toilet was not flushing well, had to have front desk fix it & the AC unit didn’t work well, hot in the room.
