Great location, once remodeled will be wonderful.
Pros:

Staff was excellent, friendly, helpful, attentive, answered all my questions. I’d say way above average.
Room was clean and comfortable. (Front desk Juliet, bartender Saturday night-sorry did not get her name and front desk attendant Saturday night) Good supply of drinks, snacks, light hot/cold foods etc. available in the lobby (or you can walk to several restaurants and fast food).

Cons:

I could not figure out the shower, three shower heads and three levers, after trial and error was able to get cold water only. (I overheard a guest say they only figured out hot water) The room did not have a mirror, only in the restroom, it needs a mirror. I understand you are in remodeling process, and you had notified me, so im commenting but aware you may still be working on some of these items. The room was fine otherwise.

Would not recommend this hotel, unfortunately we had a very poor time due to reasons listed above.
Pros:

There was no continental breakfast, everything offered was very expensive so we chose to have breakfast elsewhere.

Cons:

The pool was closed, our entire floor was covered in plastic & under renovation, shop vac in the hallway, painters working, etc. Ice maker on our floor & the floor below were both broken. Food was offered for breakfast but everything was extremely expensive!

Pros:

Beautifully remodeled. Love the little t v lounge area and the cafe. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom is large and has a big spacious shower.

Cons:

We stayed in room 117. The noise coming from the street beside the hotel was ridiculous. We heard everything. Motorcycles revving their motors,, place cars, all type of cars. They need some type of sound barrier insulation in the wall.that's facing that street. The pool area needs some work.

For a one night stay it was a great experience.

Efficient and personable hotel staff was fantastic; construction and shower plumbing noise were frustrating and intrusiv
Pros:

Staff was professional and warm.
Lobby space was inviting and spacious.
Our room was clean and had a balcony we weren’t expecting which we enjoyed using.

Cons:

The noise level was impossible to ignore: the doors of other rooms slamming shut, at all hours, construction work (drilling) on floor below ours, and the shower head and drain made knocking and train sounds during and after use.

The lodging rate was too much for a property doing a renovation. If hotel had disclosed construction activity beforehand, we would have considered other properties.

This place is a MOTEL 6 disguised as a Courtyard by Marriott property.
Pros:

We picked this motel based on previous stays at Marriott properties. Sad, sad mistake! They are supposedly renovating. They were not crowded so I don't know why we did not receive a renovated room instead of the shabby one we were placed in. The room was not very clean. The AC was noisy and did not keep the room cool. Corporate definitely needs to step in and do something!!

Pros:

The hallway floors had sticky carpet and constantly smelled like mildew and old food. The rooms had dead bugs and flys flying around, not much space to move and no extra bedding. There were boogers on the ceiling. The beds were comfy but the bathroom shower had stains in the tub. The doors slam very loudly and halls were very noisy at night. Back door entrances didn't always work. The lobby felt clean and made it feel a little better.

Absolutely loved staying here due to the awesome staff and clean, well-maintained, safe property!
Pros:

The staff was amazing!! So personable, attentive, accommodating and responsive!! Best customer service! I will definitely stay here any time I come to Ocala, and will look into other Courtyard by Marriott properties when I travel.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike, it was a clean, well-maintained and safe property. Loved staying here, and will be back.
