Overall I like everything.
Pros:

We noticed a roach in the room as soon as we entered. That was unpleasant surprise for us. Fortunately the staff was very friendly. They immedaitely changed our room to another one. And thanks God there was no cockroach in the second room. Overall it was good, I liked it.

Cons:

The unconvenient surprise in the first room. There was a cockroach on the carpet walking around. I would appreciate if this thing would be taken into consideration so that the next guests wouldn't get surprised.

I opened my door and saw two of the largest roaches I’ve ever seen. I had to make my own reservation at the newer Holida

Cons:

Simply not a clean property; filthy elevator, and my room had large roaches. This is a disgusting property; very outdated, and poorly reflects the Holiday Inn Express brand.

Pros:

Most important is the comfy beds and pillows! Good coffee. Friendly staff. Free breakfast. Large rooms.

Cons:

No potatoes, and no bacon one of the days. Sofa cushion super saggy, uncomfortable & lopsided.

wouldn't stay here again. Lots of other nicer hotels within the vicinity of DFW airport.

Price and convivence to airport. Free airport shuttle.

Cons:

booked immediately after my plane landed, called the hotel about the shuttle for transfer, the automated system told us where to go.. shuttle never arrived after 45 minutes of waiting, called hotel again, spoke with front desk and they told us they weren't aware we needed one? Sent one after this conversation, it arrived about 25 minutes later.

Duve bed cover not washed, there was what appeared to be a chocolate smudge on inside of covers...found the room too large, poorly furnished with old carpet, no coffee maker. Water knobs in shower cold was hot, hot was cold....bed too soft. Upon check-in this would of been appreciated if we were told this since I thought there was no hot water.

Windows do poor job of insulating airport noise, they were very loud.

I would stay at this hotel again but would get a rental car

Loved the breakfast plenty of choices and the staff was very pleasant. Ms. Gabrida is a sweetheart she let me and my daughter eat breakfast even though she was closing after explaining what happened with the shuttle you know I had to give her a tip for being so kind.

Cons:

I was very disappointed in the airport shuttle. Call the front desk the day before my arrival to schedule my pickup and was told no need to schedule because it was on a rotating schedule. Arrived at the shuttle pickup point at 8:08am and waited and waited after about 20 minutes of waiting I called the front desk to ask about the shuttle and they said I had to schedule the pickup I informed them I called the day before my arrival to do just that and was told something different then the front desk informs me that the shuttle will be at 9:00am the shuttle arrived at 9:10am so an hour of waiting on the hotel shuttle. Not very happy about their shuttle service.

If you need a quick stop over near the airport it works fine. I would not recommend an extended stay
Pros:

Breakfast was okay, but veery busy every morning. Workout room was okay with limited weights, treadmill and ellipticals

Cons:

Nearly non stop jets skimming the top of our room from 6:30 am on. Only one way in and one way out. Rooms are old, especially showing up in outdated bathrooms.
