Important information:

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Breakfast is served at The Munch. For children from 6 years of age, breakfast is chargeable at RM 30.00 per child. Additional breakfast is chargeable at RM 50.00 per adult. All children 12 years and above considered as adult.

Please note that bookings are subject to a Heritage fee of MYR 5 per room, per night. This is payable directly to the hotel.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

A good rest stop is treated as a stopover to other cities
Pros:

If Malacca is a stopover for other cities, then this hotel serves its purpose. External a bit run down but the internal seems newly renovated and the the room is spacious.

Overall okay and satisfied.
Pros:

The bed best, the staff was friendly and very helpful, the breakfast was variety and delicious, the location was quiet. We take room premium king if not mistaken.

Cons:

The room that i stayed the aircond not too cold, the curtain have some part that not hang up properly, not have nice view, dine in room service food less variety and area hotel do not have near access to shop. Have to go out far a bit.

First time coming to Melaka and Ames Hotel make our staycation at Melaka super awesome.
Pros:

The room was so nice and clean. Having my stay here for two night were so awesome and my both sons also enjoy our staycation at Ames Hotel. Their staff also very helpful and always smile to customers. My family will repeat to stay here if we are coming to Melaka ☺️

Pros:

The room so comfortable

Cons:

The night staff, not friendly we ask for assistance to open the door since we left it the room, the reception was 2 guys. Not smiling, not saying anything just pass to us the extra key card without even looking.

Surrounding parking area a bit dark and scary..the light not bright enough.

No frills stay convenient for stopover
Pros:

Location near the AH2 expressway. Convenient for travellers looking for stop-over.

Cons:

No towels were provided for until requested. Even that was slightly inconvenient as the quick dial buttons on the phone do not work. Eventually I managed to contact housekeeping via another department
