Pool closed for repairs during this stay.
I stay here every year for convention. Good location clean in need of a little modernizing.
I do recommend for a stay in this area that's walkable and had good service.
Great staff. Very clean. Location is perfect for events in downtown.
No pool closed
I booked this hotel entirely based on location. It's right across the street from Pexcho's American Dime Museum!
The staff were very pleasant. All of them.
The amenities in the room are a bit dated, but perfectly functional. I found the whole property to be charming.
Just stay somewhere else! No amenities. No pool, no hot tub, no fridge, no restaurant, no bar. The tv would go in and out. The pictures were beautiful of the place but when we arrived. It wasn’t anything like the pictures. If you advertise then you need to have the amenities that you say you have!
Stayed at this hotel years ago and had the best time at the Restaurant/Bar on the top floor over looking the city.
We were thinking about staying there again and called hotel to ask if restaurant on the top floor was still open to guest staying at the hotel. The employee I spoke to said no and was very rude and hung up on me. This hotel is nothing like it used to be. We are now staying at another hotel.
Stay was very enjoyable. Check-in was painless and professional. Teela ( Teaka?) was a very gracious host and extremely helpful for directions and suggestions of restaurants and venues in the area.
Single drawback was the train traffic that passed through during the night. Four times and extremely loud. Glad we didn’t have to get up early!😅
Always a pleasant experience. Rooms are clean, bathrooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Great view of the city.
Comfortable
Rooms and great staff
Everything about this hotel was old. Save your money but the staff was amazing
Everything is fine
Inaccurate description for many things. Pool is not open - hasn’t been since hurricane according to sign on the door. The hotel website states pool is available. No onsite bar. Web says rooftop bar! Had 3 different rooms in 4 nights. First night door to room wouldn’t lock. Second night toilet flooded bathroom. Curtains were moldy and dirty at bottom. When toilet flooded we were given a mop and bucket as if we should clean up. No maintenance person on staff in evenings. Check in took 40 minutes because a new hire was there alone. She quit before our stay ended. Website describes downtown Augusta as beautiful. Not accurate.
Horrible.
Awesome place
Smelled like smoke, dirty towels in the bathroom, roaches on the bed, we left and did not spend the night.
Staff was very helpful very accommodating definitely will be looking forward to doing another stay in the future thank you for everything y'all do even had the convenience of putting a refrigerator in my room for my infant thank you she is only 7 weeks old and his breastfed so keeping the fresh milk pumped chilled was very very convenient like
The Elevator was out due to storm and no one ntfd me so i had no room
Leaving the unfortunate problem the city had to deal with this weekend with hurricane Helene touching land and making disasters… the hotel is terrible and really should be inspected by official authorities and Expedia should really look into not offering this hotel as an option any longer: no elevators working, guests need to enter the rooms through the service door which is absolutely outdoor with very little security and control. There is no personnel receiving in the front. The parking is terrible. With respect to the rooms I believe they are with the same furtiniture and infrastructure since the inception of the hotel who knows since when, the TVs are small and very old with a system that barely works, the AC are noisy and old, the carpets aren’t so clean and the bathrooms are antique. The common area is completely limited, the pool area (that got destroyed after the hurricane) but before that it was basically abandoned (in a time of the dread that’s still warm enough for usage). Conditions overall: probably one of the worst hotels I have been in all my life. I believe this hotel needs either an investment of around 3 to 4 million USD for proper renovation or basically bring it down and begin a new construction.
Very outdated
DO NOT STAY HERE EVEN IF THIS IS THE ONLY HOTEL AVAILABLE! Worker allowed her husband to steal all of my information to include my phone number and home and work addresses. I believe there is a possible sex trafficking scheme going on here because the husband accosted me and then called me with my room number and texted me on whatsapp afterwards! DO NOT STAY HERE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A WOMAN AND ALONE. THIS HOTEL SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! Wyndham and Ramada Inn count your days!
