Excellent stay and food. Comfy and warm ambience nice room. Received lots and lots of hospitality from the staff, Mr. Sudeep, Mr. Manoj and Mr. Lekh to name a few. The restaurant was very flexible with our eggless food needs.
Room were comfortable and good ambiance. Staff are friendly especially Manoj and Sudeep have a good pleasance smile. Clean rooms
Hospitality
An excellent stay with top-class service. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, staff were professional, and everything felt premium. Perfect for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
Every thing was perfect, big room size, good food, cooperative staff, and get ambiences, value for money, will recommend others
Good
In shower water is flowing out of shower curtain. It seems curtain is short. You must do something to stop this.
Also while checking out, your reception staff is telling me to wait till somebody goes & checks room. This is very bad. You don’t have trust in your visitor. I had to leave by taxi & staff asked me to wait for 5 minutes. This is very bad.
Nice hotel to stay and enjoy with family…so staff friendly…especially Sudeep & Lekh.
we enjoyed our Christmas vacation here🎄
Worst management and staffs
Non of them. I was regular customer but now on no more and I will block my friends and family in wider communities. Not to visit anymore. Very bad and unacceptable behaviour from staffs and management team.
The hotel offered a comfortable and pleasant stay with clean rooms and a calm atmosphere. The staff were polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in was smooth, and the room was well maintained with comfortable bedding. The location is convenient, making it easy to access nearby shops and transport. Food quality was good, with a decent variety at breakfast. Housekeeping was regular and efficient. Overall, the hotel provides good value for money and is suitable for families, business travelers, and tourists looking for a relaxing stay.
Overall stay was nice , the property is great ,the views from windows is awesome . Good for family , comfortable stay with good hospitality
I love this hotel. It's my go to place when I come to Nepal to spend some time with my sisters. Rooms are nice. Location also good. Staffs are friendly. Food is good too..lots of variety. Rooftop view excellent for sunrise n Valley view, mountains. Highly recommended. Until I come back next time.
Experience was very good best hotel in town appreciate the hospitality all the best service staff Ala are supportive best hotel
Had an amazing experience at Crown imperial. We came to Nepal for the first time and a family friend from Nepal suggested this hotel for our trip.
The staff at the restaurant - Manoj BK and Amshu Sudip - are quite polite and welcoming. They even gone out of the way and took orders to serve some items that were not part of the standard menu.
We truly appreciate the friendly and accommodating support extended by the staff during our dinner
We had a great time. Thank you.
I had a pleasant stay overall. The room was clean, which was extremely important to me, and the staff were attentive throughout my visit.
That said, the room and bathroom are quite outdated—likely dating back to the 1970s—and would benefit from remodeling, particularly the shower.
For my early‑morning flight to Mount Everest, the hotel provided a breakfast box (which I requested the night before with specific instructions) that was disappointing. The croissants were extremely hard (biting into a rock) despite my request for them to be warmed. The strawberry jam cdid not taste like jam, and fruit was included even though I had specifically asked for none. I had also asked for a latte to go or coffee with hot milk to go which they forgot. With my helicopter tour starting in 45 min I did not have time to wait.
The hotel key card frequently stopped working (not due to my iPhone), requiring multiple trips to the lobby to have it reactivated. On my final day, the maintenance engineer came to the realization that the lock’s battery needed to be replaced. While not a major issue, it was frustrating.
Additionally, the elevators were very slow and often bypassed my floor for no clear reason. At times, it was faster to walk down more than eleven flights of stairs than to wait for an elevator. Every time the key did not work I would be getting my steps in trekking up & down floors.
I also booked a massage. The massage room was clean but not particularly inviting. Communicating with the spa receptionist about the treatment I wanted was extremely difficult due to the language barrier. The facial and head massage themselves were fine, but it was challenging to explain my areas of concern, and hand signals were not always understood, which detracted from the experience. The products used for the facial or waxing were not professional‑grade and appeared to be items purchased from a local super market store.
The waxing service was average at best. The wax was either far too hot or too cool to remove the hair effectively. I eventually gave up and left with patches of hair still remaining.
The massage bed was a simple faux‑leather table with minimal padding and no soft coverings once you lay down. The massage skills were average. However - both ladies who did the spa treatments were very friendly & tried to please.
Overall, the cost of the hotel room & food were reasonable.
I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Crown Imperial during my work visit to Kathmandu. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were consistently kind, warm, and welcoming.
As I was on a busy business schedule and out for most of the day, the staff thoughtfully provided complimentary fruits, which was a lovely gesture. I would be happy to return with my family for a vacation and would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Kathmandu.
