Not a 5* hotel at all! Not even 4*
Pros:

Good breakfast even for western standard.
Location adjacent to the river separated by a busy road only. City centre.

Cons:

This is everything but a 5* hotel! Not by far. Maybe 3* if at all.
No hand towels provided, we had to claim these.
Sink was clogged on arrival and the plumber did not wipe the floor after fixing. Threw the busted disgusting material just in the bathroom bin.
Air condition was as noisy as an old diesel truck. Impossible to sleep with it switched on.
Room was very worn out as well as the whole facility. Finery came off the walls everywhere.
Room cleaning was not accurate, hairs found in bathroom after the service.
We are as expats in Malaysia and have encountered this frowsy standard all over the country. So don't expect too much, it is still a developing country.

Nor worth the money spend.
Pros:

Near to Kuching waterfront & cat statue. Walking distance

Cons:

The toilet is not clean. Mold is everywhere. There's no plastic bag for dustbin. The toilet using low water pressure bidet. I think the room is too small for 4 people. Not worth it when you paid RM 350 + per night for that room.

Satisfying
Pros:

Location as per our journey plan. Breakfast varieties and good. Staff are polite and helpful. My choice for short stay while in Kuching as pricey for long stay:)-. Love to walk at the waterfront at night watching buskers and lightings.

Nil. Hope to get better price in future :)-
