Matteo was very pleasant at the valet and luggage hold area.
Mateo, Christian, and Bautista were super accommodating at Valet. Took excellent care of our bicycles while we were beaching it. We love Marriott.

So far I am not impressed. Granted I haven't gotten to my room yet but that's part of why I am not impressed. First, the check in is so late at 4pm. Guest who arrive early (as I did) just get told to wait. I requested an early check in (they said if it's possible, it wouldn't be a problem) and I wholeheartedly understand that the check in is at 4pm. If I could have arrived later, I would have. But I arrived just before 9am, was told check out is at 11, and there was no guarantee a room would be ready earlier than 4. It's now 1:00pm. My phone died so I asked the front desk if maybe they contacted me when I noticed the phone had shut off. I was told "A lot of people are waiting for rooms, check in is at 4pm" then she returned to what she was doing, effectively dismisisng me. Mkay. I've been up amd traveling since 5am. My entire body hurts. My feet are swollen and I really just want to lie down. I love Marriott but wish I'd have chosen a different hotel. At Candlewood Suites not one time did I ever arrive earlier than check in time and was treated like a bother. Most times they had a room available or if they didn't, as soon as check out was available within half an hour or so I was given access to the room.
They have a beautiful patio upstairs that leads outside/downstairs to the beach/sidewalk, but once you go out the door/gate without a key card you can't get back in. The patio faces the beach. The entrance does not. Each time I've gone out there I've had to walk around the block to get back inside.
Since I've never been in FL before, instead of flying straight home after a cruise or staying at the airport Marriott I selected this one so I could see the beach. But I didnt consider I'd spend most of the day waiting for a room/and or locked outside walking the block to get back in. Naivete on my part, sure. But I just find it difficult to believe with all of the people I've seen checking out in the 4+hours since I've been here not 1 room has been made available.
My last couple of stays at Marriott brand have been disappointing and it's disappointing to add this one to the list. After watching more people leave/check out and several people be given room keys, I went to the desk at 3pm to inquire if there was a room available for me yet. I was told no. I called United, changed my flight, ordered an Uber and left. I spent 6 hours waiting for a room and being dismissed by customer service. I got to that hotel at 8:50am. Massively disappointed in Marriott and cannot say I'll ever bother with their brand again or use my card anymore. If I have no value as a customer, I can spend my time/money with other brands who still value customer satisfaction and loyalty..
First time stay for a family of four and we will come back for next FLL trip. Beach directly across the street which is important because getting around this area is hard due to constant traffic. Room and amenities were very clean and staff was friendly and accommodating. Hotel food and beverage prices are high, so suggest walking down the street and picking up family essentials at the local CVS. There’s also an amazing cafe a block away for breakfast and lunch at Nanou French Bakery and Cafe.

We had scheduled to have a cab pick us up at 5am. The front desk employee was different than lady who set it up. When the cab was 30 min late the guy at the front desk just pulled out a card and said try this! He didn’t offer to call or help knowing we had been sitting there and were late. We had to figure it out for our selves and for dealing with Marriott hotels this was the worse service ever. We will not be back.

We stayed here the night before a cruise. Great location and the outdoor space is great. Our room was well appointed. I would recommend.
Great room, view, and location. The beach and luggage service was amazing.
Renovation done extremely well. Christian made the stay memorable, very friendly and energetic, full of information and assisted and greeted us each time.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Courtyard by Marriott Oceanside Fort Lauderdale Beach. The location is amazing, just steps from the beach, and the hotel felt very welcoming. The rooms were comfortable, the common areas were clean, and the staff was always kind and attentive. Barbara was very happy with the overall experience, and we would gladly stay here again.
Love the location and it’s a beautiful resort.
The bed was horrible. The mattress sunk in the middle and very uncomfortable for an extended stay.
Proximity to the beach, property was clean, good food options
We kept getting charged multiple times a day, like close to 2 thousand dollars worth. We went to the front desk to fix it halfway through our stay, then it started happening again. Couldn’t be fixed before we left either, so hoping it will be sorted in the next day or so.
Location, staff and people there
They add automatic 18% tip. The breakfast you have to order with cashier and the coffee is served in the paper cups which is like getting it in fast food places. We ended up in places with real service.
