Does get noisy but short stay is ok
Early check in was a huge bonus.
Beds were very comfortable.
Dinner and breakfast at the Restaurant were excellent.
Staff were friendly, considerate and helpful.
Property is aging a bit, particularly in rooms.
The pool and gardens were lovely. The dining room area had good food.
The room was quite small. The bathroom didn't feel clean. The pillows were old and uncomfortable.
The staff on arrival were excellent !!!!. Got in around 10.30pm . Tried to sleep inn,, but room next door was noisy who got in around 2.am drunk and spoke to his someone on his phone for about 15mins . Totally disturbed my sleep.
In the morning, I went around 11.am ish and tried to get a coffee but the staff person making the coffee's appeared to be making one for another customer so I waited , then another customer I guess is a regular(looked like a pilot) walked in and the staff member stared making his as well !! Still no recognition as what I would like ,, so I left without a coffee.
Overall I felt it could be an exceptional place to stay with Beautifull grounds and a relaxed atmosphere ..I would like to give the motel another try on my next visit.

We didn’t have breakfast but really enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant
We appreciated being moved by reception on checking in from an upstairs to downstairs room for easier access with suitcases (no lift) but were a little disappointed as the room was quite dark and small. It was however adequate for our one night stay. The 5am taxi to the airport we had asked the hotel to book the day before was late causing anxiety and pressure in getting there to drop off our baggage in time for our 6:05am flight.

Staff were friendly, a quiet location and the room which had a view of the lake.
