Font desk clerk was professional and helped resolve our problem with finding a bed bug in hotel room
Pros:

The young man (Hunter) who attended the desk was very professional and courteous. Coffee was good. Bathroom was clean with hair dryer and good shower. Beds were decent softness.

Cons:

We found a bed bug on a bed and had to change rooms. Issue resolved, but made us wary about the cleanliness of the hotel. The housekeeper was shouting loudly in the morning in the hall ~ in a pleasant voice but LOUDLY. Seemed like she wanted to wake everyone up even though checkout wasn't until noon. Literally sounded like she was sing-song cheerfully yelling at everyone to wake up at 8 a.m.

Good price for a one night stay
Pros:

The pillows were great! The water pressure in shower was fantastic and the place was really clean. I would stay here again. The cosmetic part could be better but it doesn't bother me.

Cons:

The bed wasn't that comfortable but better then most.

Very disappointed
Pros:

Property is very rundown and in need of a remodel. When we travel we often select LaQuinta but this one fell far below our expected experience.

A 1 star hotel charging 4 star prices.
Pros:

The staff was nice.

Cons:

The room keys did not work despite the staff reprogramming them multiple times. We ended up with 1 key that worked about 20% of the time. My SILs room was open when she checked in to it and the door barely closed properly at all. My room had no hand soap on arrival, a mini fridge full of someone else’s food, and a TV that refused to shut off no matter what we tried. The paint on the ceiling was peeling, there was moldy caulking in the showers, only 1 light worked in the room, and the beds were incredibly uncomfortable. Add in the exceedingly poor state of the pool/spa (it smelt awful, the color of the water was off putting, and there were no towels for anyone brave enough to attempt to swim), and the general run down feel of the hotel and I have honestly no idea how this hotel has such a high rating on this site and others like it.
