Pros:

am filing a complaint regarding the conditions at Days Inn off 524 in Cocoa, Florida. The room I was assigned had the door already cracked open and it would not properly shut, which is a safety concern. I was then given another room, but the condition of that room was extremely unsanitary.
The lamp shades were covered in stains and grime, the mini refrigerator was heavily rusted and dirty, the pipes under the sink were filthy, and the bathroom fixtures had visible rust and buildup. The overall cleanliness of the room appeared severely neglected.
I have attached photos showing the condition of the room. Even for a budget hotel, these conditions are unacceptable and appear to be a sanitation issue. I believe this property needs to be inspected for health and safety concerns.

Great place to stay the night before a cruise if you drive your vehicle. Park & shuttle both ways.
Pros:

Park & Shuttle to the port for a week to ten days is a huge benefit along with the low cost room rate. Great value.

Cons:

Rooms need to undergo maintenance. Luggage racks, furniture, lamps, television, bathroom vent fans, and switch out the mini-toilets to adult size toilets. Felt like a kindergartners stool.

The only good thing were the restaurant staff.
Pros:

Room was very old. It was in poor condition. Taps were so tight we had to use a cloth for traction to turn the knobs. Curtains were not well maintained. Paint was scraped off the doors. They advertised a restaurant on site but didn't clarify it was only open 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. so it was costly to order from outside restaurants.

Cons:

Most things about the hotel and staff.

Best Value Stay/Park/Shuttle/ package in Cocoa.
Pros:

For a safe, decent night's stay, they are the best value in the area for cruisers who drive to Port Canaveral. The price is low and Parking & Port Shuttle is only $40. per person roundtrip to the port and back. Car is safe all week in their back lot. Rooms were clean but could use a bit of refurbishing, beds were comfy, pillows were too plump (I always bring my own). Breakfast at Waffles is friendly and good. AC unit worked well. Desk personnel were friendly and informative, but ... (see below)

... they really should never smoke in front of the entrance. Babies, children, women, and men waiting for the shuttles while staff puffed away was rather rude.
The motel is old and needs refurbishing. First night we were on 2nd floor. Room was missing broken luggage shelf, TV remote was missing & replacement remote didn't work, there were no drawers or cabinet doors. It looked torn up. The second stay, a week later, we had a first floor unit. Much better shape, tele worked great, BUT...one bedside lamp had a bent light fixture and the other did not work at all. Bathroom fan was REALLY loud.

Pros:

Do not stay here- park at the port!!! The money you think you are saving you will have to spend to uber back to your car or to the ship. If shuttle isn't full, you aren't going!!

Pros:

This location is known for being trashy. Rooms smell like pee & have bugs crawling out drain. Dirt in box springs and corners of beds. Front desk working was rude and not helpful.

Good hotel for money, terrible shuttle experience
Pros:

Older place, but clean, only complaint was the shuttle, driver that took us to cruiseport, told us on return wait in a different area, which was quite alot of steps from where we were supposed to meet, with a 92 yr old mother them extra walking steps were terrible, then we were supposed to get ride back to hotel at 9:15, no one picked us up until 10:45. 😞...
