Pros:

How close it was to Cedar Point.

Cons:

Room didn't have toilet paper, shower gel, hand bar soap. Linens had a terrible smell to it. The shower was dirty. Horrible. All the eateries were closed.

Stay away! Over priced!
Pros:

The hotel is basically a step up from Motel 8. It’s dirty, rooms are extremely damp and musky smelling. Moldy smelling and caked with dust. The hotel floors are also nasty. The arcade is obnoxiously priced for dollar tree toys. The water park is extremely warm and strong chlorine smelling. Closes at 8pm which is very inconvenient, only leaving the over priced arcade. Also the slides were closed inside the water park making it a waste. The location is nice if traveling cedar point. But way too overpriced for nasty, dirty, moldy, gross stay.

Overall it was good.
Pros:

Waterpark was nice, and all the activities in the facility was convenient.

The staff of lifeguards was amazing. The programs and activities for the kids was very nice.

Cons:

The property looks a little dated, they didn't clean our room on the first day we had to call to get it cleaned. Not all of the water rides were open so we didn't get to try a few of them. Thought the outside swimming area would have been much larger. Didn't know that booking using booking.com wouldn't allow me to get the Cedar Point admission discounts. Not sure why they can't operate a shuttle to the park.

It was an experience to check off my list. We would stay there again
Pros:

It location was nice the views of the water was A-1, the facility is great for young kids.

Cons:

The guess service weren't helpful, didn't explain must upon checking in, the Odor it the hallways were bad, beds very uncomfortable the pillows were paper thin.

Not great but not terrible
Pros:

Location was good, staff friendly.

Cons:

First off, the elevators were terrible. Only 2 elevators and one of them wasn't working. And the other was soooo slow and only like 6 people fit. Good 30 min wait for the elevator during high traffic times. Luckily we were on the second floor so we used the stairs a lot. Also several attractions in the water park were closed, which kinda sucked. But it was not too crowded when we were there luckily.

Terrible Cleanliness & Closed Rides
Pros:

We booked two rooms at Castaway Bay to celebrate our child's birthday, but it was a major letdown for the price. Our rooms were completely neglected by housekeeping: the bathtub was filthy, the body wash dispenser was empty, and the refrigerator wasn't cleaned and still contained a leftover bottle from a previous guest. To make matters worse, a few of the water park rides were closed for the entire duration of our stay. We have been here before and had a good experience, but after spending so much money for a special occasion, we are highly disappointed and will not be recommending it to family or friends.

I would never go back there again.

Cons:

The bathroom was dirty and when I called for a room, refresh to have trash taken out and fresh towels delivered we only got towels. The Wi-Fi never seemed to work. A few of the people at check-in were nice but many were short and rude and general not just at the front desk. One particular rude person that stands out is the supervisor at the waterpark. It’s one thing to do your job and it’s another to be rude to your paying customers and leave them talking when they ask you a question. That power trip ego is a definite no and enough to never recommend the hotel to anyone else!!

Lovely place! Just a few minor touches needed.
Pros:

Very beautiful. Fun for kids! And somewhat relaxing for adults!

Cons:

Place could use a little cleaning and repairing.
You can tell there's not much pressure in the showers.
Vents are dirty. (Like caked on dirty.)
Windows and outdoors on the patio riddled with bugs.
Some slides and other areas are leaking and such.

Not worth price at all.
Pros:

Location. That is about it.

Cons:

Not clean. Staff was very rude and not accommodating. Asked us to reuse towels like we do at home when we asked for extra towels. Rooms were not clean- hair in bedding and on floors.
