Pros:

Loved to landscaping, pool area, hot tub, and lounges on the patio. Had a good gym and water available. Was right across a strip mall with Whole Foods & good restaurants. Location is excellent!!

The room was fine . Housekeepers were very nice and accommodating.
Our complaint : for the price , the hotel offered no complimentary anything ( except 2 bottles
of water , big deal !! ) Paid parking was ridiculous at $30 a night .
Won’t recommend.

The hospitality and front desk staff were friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The A/C is too loud to get a relaxing sleep. Close to eateries, grocery stores, UTC mall, and UC San Diego.

This property has become a go-to for us thanks to its proximity to UCSD. It's convenient to have shopping, restaurants, and transportation nearby. Philz coffee shop in the adjacent shopping center is a bonus!

Pros:

Nice place to stay especially if you have business with UCSD Thornton Hospital. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They have a restaurant, breakfast, lunch and dinner but what they offer is limited.

Just really was in and out of the room. Though the hotel is old, I appreciate the refresh look. There was a coffee machine but no coffee kcups to use. I also wanted to leave a tip in room but front desk has no cash.

Lovely grounds. Room was not ready for 30 min after checkin time. No perks or anything offered for the wait time. Housekeeping was lax.

Great location for walking distance coffee
Pros:

We always stay at this hotel and have a fantastic time visit our son at UC San Diego.. However, at this time, the air conditioner was condensing and created super high humidity in the room. I let the staff know, so hopefully they fix it. The location is fantastic. Very nearby is Philz‘s coffee or breakfast.
