The reception staff - Nikkia? not sure that is her name did not understand that the room I was given was under my father's name ( Mr Don Carrazza). I did not want to sign the registration card with the incorrect name however she advised that it would be fine. Once I got to the room the welcome message was to Mr Carrazza and when I checked out his name again was on my account. Not sure why it was so complicated to adjust the invoice to the correct name even though my IHG number was correct?
Well located. The disability rails in the room were excellent.
I am disabled and the accessible room was at the further most point from the lifts. The hotel is very old and needs a refit. There are still telephones next to the toilet!

No working fan in toilet, tv didn’t work, difficulty with lift access when left key in the room
