We loved the location, the suite and the service. Everyone made our stay comfortable were attentative to us.
The hot water could have been hotter. We only used the hot tap.
It has nice ambience. Quiet.
It’s was overall
Good
Proximity to our activities. Staff in breakfast and valet (tall guy with dark hair - great stand out) really lovely and kind. Breakfast on Thursday 2 July good (egg station fab) - but not as good on Friday 3 July.
The maintenance noise at breakfast.
The location is fantastic, I took the J1/J2 bus from the airport and then it's a short walk from stop D3 Currie st. The museum, art gallery and library are all on the same road as the hotel.
The staff were friendly and accommodating and the room was clean and had a great view of Adelaide oval.
Location
A little dated but very clean and serviceable
We stayed at InterContinental Adelaide for two nights in a Junior Suite, before heading to Clare and the Barossa Valley, and returned for another two nights before flying back to Singapore. The Junior Suite was spacious, comfortable, with ample room to open all our luggage and carefully pack the many bottles of Australian wines we had collected during our trip. The location of the hotel is excellent - right next to the train station and less than 10 mins walk to Rundle Mall, with good eateries nearby.
What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the concierge team. Their service and hospitality were impeccable, with every request handled promptly and professionally. Andrew, in particular, stood out for his genuine warmth and friendliness. He greeted us each time we entered and left the hotel, and his excellent recommendations on where to eat and enjoy a drink added so much to our Adelaide experience. His personal touch, together with the outstanding concierge team, made us feel genuinely welcomed and ensured every stay was a pleasure. We would gladly return on our next visit to Adelaide.
