Friendly staff, good bar and restaurant
We had a king bed and sofa bed with 2 adults and 2 children reserved to stay. At check in I asked if the sofa bed had linens and I was told yes. Once bedtime came and we turned the sofa bed down, there were no linens or pillows. Called for linens twice, went for a smoke and came back and still no linens. It was pretty late by then. Went to the front desk and asked for the linens then waited 10 minutes for one on the front desk to go get linens because the laundry room wasn’t answering.

Local, access to airport
The front desk was ineffective at handling the problem. The staff appeared indifferent to my concerns and made little effort to assist or resolve the situation. Customer service was disappointing and lacked professionalism.
The air conditioning in my room was not working. I checked in around 11:00 PM and had to leave at approximately 1:21 AM because the room was uncomfortable and the issue could not be resolved. The hotel later informed me that I would not be charged due to the inconvenience, but the charge still appeared on my credit card, forcing me to dispute the transaction. Very disappointing experience.

Air conditioner and refrigerator not functional. Was told repair would be dine and refrigerator replaced. Arrived back late to find no air conditioning and refrigerator removed and left in middle of the room. Was told a/c was out in many rooms. So what? Had to demand another room.

Amd i was expexted to stay with mom 80year mom for2 night when the weatger outiside was 95 degrees. I was charged and didn't stay. Booking and Hilton didn't do anything, and no one would answer the call at Hilton. ManagerPreston never called. me.

The entire experience was incomprehensible as the hotel had a planned outage to service the air-conditioning tower and no rooms had A/C. They m ade no attempt to tell us this was going on until it was too late to change hotels. The sstaff had nothing to offer to resolve the situation
The Hotel had a pre-planned maintenance of the air-conditioning system. We were never informed at check-in or prior that the hotel was planning to shut the system for routine maintenance. If they had notified us we would not have stayed there. I assume that was their objective to have our business without providing a basic cooling system during our stay. We suffered in very hot weather and the room was at 75 and 76 degrees and humid for our entire stay. There was no ventilation and staff could not provide any fans or change rooms as non of the other rooms at the hotel had air-conditioning either.
Breakfast, which was included in the rate was disappointing and the staff had an incredibly difficult time managing the concept of a bed and breakfast rate. I had to correct the staff twice at check in, and again when having breakfast.

I was busy during the day so either had to check in early (11am) or late (10-11pm) - they were unable to provide an early check in BUT they had read my note about needing a defeathered room and had, indeed, defeathered the room! That was great. The view out my window in the morning was also very green - just facing some woods and grass, but much nicer than looking over a parking lot. The check in and check out staff were also very friendly and pleasant. The bed was also very comfortable.
Upon checking in, I had to walk between perhaps 30 youths and men in sweats, drinking, and talking loudly, to get to the elevators up to my room. No one said anything or did anything, but many stopped talking and looked until I passed and it was uncomfortable, given that it was 11pm on a Saturday night and I was a woman on my own (I was in a large, unshapely windbreaker over a work dress, so not looking for attention). Maybe that was just bad luck in terms of my arrival time? I deadbolted the door but the metal flap you can extend at the top of the door to prevent it from being kicked in was damaged and hung off crookedly, so it did not look like it could prevent the door from being forced again. The cover for the peephole was loose and could not be closed. As the peephole was too high for me to see out of, I pushed the large armchair across the room and put it against the door, figuring it could serve double duty making the room a little more secure and providing something I could stand on to see out of the peephole should I need to. Shortly thereafter, the door wobbled and I heard male voices outside - I popped up onto the chair and could see two men in the hallway. It turned out my room was next to the ice machine, which was popular until about midnight. The bathroom ceiling had an active leak - no water came down, but the paint was bulging and discoloured, and very shabby. I could hear TV and conversation through the walls of my room - though that did stop by midnight.
