The Hotel Elysees 8 is a charming hotel with modern amenities that is perfectly located (walking distance) to the metro,
Pros:

The location was great! Close to many restaurants, pubs, and just a short walk to shopping & attractions. The staff was very accommodating. They recommended things to do, restaurants & even upgraded our stay when they learned it was our anniversary. The rooms were very clean & beds were comfortable.

Cons:

There is very little street parking & garage parking is a bit expensive (IMO), but completely worth it if you don’t want drive around looking for a place to park. Be sure to contact the hotel to reserve parking!!Be aware that the garage entrance is very narrow, so a small rental car would be best suited if you plan to rent a car.

Worth trying
Pros:

Excellent location. Not a lot of interaction from the staff on duty. No knowledge of local restaurants and the map of the area was poor. Room was good and breakfast excellent

Cons:

Un séjour miné par une fin déplorable. Au moment de quitter l’établissement, j’ai oublié de récupérer dans le coffre-fort de la chambre les euros que j’y avais déposé. Oubli signalé par téléphone à la réception de l’hôtel à peine quelques heures plus tard. Réponse pour le moins surprenante de la réceptionniste : le coffre-fort de la chambre que vous occupiez est déverrouillé et vide.  
S’ensuit un échange de mails avec la réceptionniste, puis la directrice de l’établissement, cordial mais stérile. Directrice qui, me semble-t-il, s’est plus interrogée sur l’exactitude de mes propos que sur l’intégrité du personnel de l'établissement et qui s'appuiera sur l'absence de consignation d'une utilisation du passe-partout pour nier l'utilisation de celui-ci. Le coffre-fort s'est donc ouvert tout seul et son contenu s'est volatilisé de lui-même. Normal.
Ayant oublié de vider le coffre avant mon départ, il est clair que ma responsabilité est engagée. Je me serais toutefois attendue d’un hôtel qui se dit respectable qu’un tel oubli ne se solde pas par un vol. Pour ma part, il s'est soldé par le dépôt d'une plainte auprès du commissariat du 8ème.
Une dernière chose Mme la Directrice, épargnez-moi dans la réponse que vous ne manquerez pas d'opposer à ce commentaire, la formule de politesse ‘Nous nous réjouissons de vous accueillir à nouveau’, soyez assurée que nous ne reviendrons pas, quand bien même vous nous offririez le séjour.

Pros:

The hotel is perfectly located in safe and calm area,close to amenities and puclic transportation.
The rooms are bit small but very efficient and well equiped.
We had also breakfast few days and it was good enought for its price.

Pros:

Staff very good and breakfast excellent

Cons:

Double bed too small. Hot room and ac not working. Very noisy if opening the doors to the balcony. Extractor fan going continuously. Informed management but nothing got done. The tea making facilities were never topped up.
