Really friendly helpful staff, great breakfast options and generally lovely hotel
Pros:

Great location to travel around the island, lovely pools and spa area. Good parking if you have a car

Cons:

Limited choose on restaurant menu, but bar menu was sufficient for our stay

Good stay
Pros:

Reception staff very helpful. Rooms very clean. Pools lovely though we were slightly off peak so not many children which may possibly change the vibe.
Very convenient location for travelling around the island.

Cons:

There is a small wasteland between the hotel and sea that is not that attractive.
Small niggle - the pool table has lost some balls including the cue ball. Most likely because the net has a hole and they have fallen down inside the table leg.

Viel zu teuer für absoluten Durchschnitt
Pros:

Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit! Die Lage ist ganz praktisch, aber an einer Hauptstrasse. Besonders herrlich waren die Massagen! Sehr empfehlenswert! Der Strand bietet super Bedingungen zum Surfen. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden.

Cons:

Wir hatten hunderte Insekten in der Badewanne, die immer wieder zurückkamen. Vermutlich aus dem Abfluss. Das blieb den ganzen Aufenthalt so. Die Zimmer sind absoluter Durchschnitt. Die Lage ist ok. Der Ausblick ist ganz schön aufs Meer, aber da liegt eine Brachfläche dazwischen, die vermüllt ist. Das Hotel wirkt ungepflegt und ungeliebt. Morgens stehen draussen noch Gläser von der Bar abends. Der Indoorpool wirkt irgendwie schmuddelig. Draussen auf der Terrasse war ein Stück Bodenplatte abgesprungen, die hab ich nach 4 Tagen mal wieder zusammengesetzt. Die Glastische vom Frühstück werden zwar feucht abgewischt, aber behalten dann typisch einen Film drauf - das sieht einfach nicht schön aus. Das Frühstück war eine Katastrophe! Verstehe gar nicht warum manche so begeistert sind. Es gibt zwar gefühlt 10 Arten seinen Kaffee zu holen (Automat, Vorgebrüht, Nespresso), aber der Rest? Dosebohnen, Fertigwürstchen, Dosenchampignons, Fertigrührei, vorgebratene Spiegeleier in lauwarm, … Die Pancakes sind ganz gut. Viel zu teuer für die Qualität, die es bietet. Wir waren zuvor in einem kleinen, feinen, privat geführten Hotel für das gleiche Geld - da waren WELTEN dazwischen.

Don’t hesitate to stay here!! It’s the best!!!
Pros:

Immaculate property! Beautiful amenities and views. Location is incredible. The staff were beyond helpful in general but also in helping us deal with an issue (unrelated to the hotel).

It was overall fine but far from what is expected from a 5 star spa hotel
Pros:

It’s a nice 4 star hotel ( doesn’t live up to 5 stars, in my opinion)

Cons:

It feels like a place in crisis, neglected and showing signs of the lack of proper care. You can’t get an extra towel, you can’t get ice or bottle opener, spa looks pretty ran down, many dishes are cold at breakfast…little things that should be taken care of but are not…

Das Hotel ist gepflegt und die Zimmer sind mehrheitlich sauber. Der Blick auf das Meer ist sehr schön, jedoch liegt zwischen dem Hotel und dem Strand Brachland wo viel Müll liegt.

Cons:

Beim Check-in wurde eine Kaution von 150 Euro gefordert. Die Kaution war aber nicht verpflichtend, wurde mitgeteilt. Der Betrag würde während dem Aufenthalt mit Ausgaben im Hotel verrechnet. Ich habe dann der Person am Empfangen mitgeteilt, dass ich das Konzept nicht nachvollziehbar finde. Daraufhin wurde wiederholt, dass die Kaution freiwillig sei. Ich habe die Kaution per Kreditkarte bezahlt. Beim Check-out wurden dann alle Ausgaben in Rechnung gestellt. Die Kaution ist noch blockiert. Ich verstehe das Konzept immer noch nicht…

Pros:

The location was excellent, with free parking available either at the hotel or nearby. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.

The spa area is excellent, featuring an amazing heated pool. The breakfast was varied and delicious, served in a dining room right in front of the sea with a gorgeous view.

Cons:

The room wasn't anything special and was located quite far from the elevators. Also, the air conditioner wasn't very strong and took a while to cool down the room.

Great stay with lovely staff and excellent location!
Pros:

We had a great stay at Verde Mar! The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with a smile. When we arrived, they decorated our room so nicely and surprised us with wine and chocolates, which was such a thoughtful and appreciated touch.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. The spa is very nice, and the indoor pool is a huge plus—especially on windier days.

Regarding parking: the main lot in front fills up quickly, but there is plenty of free and easy street parking all around the hotel, so it was never an issue.

Cons:

We personally didn't connect with the breakfast, though it is mostly a matter of personal taste.

Hotel met alles wat je nodig hebt, maar was voor ons iets te druk en ontbijt geen 5 sterren hotel waardig.
Pros:

Zwembad, netheid, faciliteiten.

Cons:

Kwaliteit van het ontbijt. Toch zeer druk in hoogseizoen.
