Pleasant stay in State College
Pros:

Very clean, easy parking, good conference center facilities.

Cons:

Not many restaurants nearby except in hotel. The Pub is good though

Nice hotel slightly off campus. Would recommend.
Pros:

The room was clean and nice. The bed was very comfortable and the shower and towels were nice. Free parking was great. The outside courtyard was pretty. Nearby PSU campus.

Cons:

Room was tiny and a very far walk from the lobby. Also the ice machine was broken but we found another one very far from our room. Very expensive for parents weekend.

It was an ok stay at the Penn Stater, but I would try and book elsewhere next time.
Pros:

There was plenty of parking. Legends Sports bar had a great atmosphere and great food.

Cons:

I have never stayed in a hotel and heard barking dogs next door. People talking loudly in the hallway outside my room and the rooms next to me. I paid a lot of money to stay at the hotel for 1 night and didn’t get a good nights sleep, due to the excessive noise.

Stayed at hotel for concert but disappointingly shuttle didn’t run for concert pickup. We saw many other hotels with their shuttle operating after the concert

Cons:

This place has serious cleanliness issues, in my first day the room was smelly. In my second visit I had to literally kill a giant spider in my room, the mattresses were not comfortable
They also do not provide microwave in the room
Ice machines on two floors I checked were broken
