Louise Eva andeilidh were the most mostese
We had a party of 8 booked in 2 family rooms and a double room. From booking this and talking to reception weeks before and our needs to be in close proximity as travelling with teenagers the request was made easily and understood our needs. On arriving Nash in reception remembered our booking and made check in simple and easy for the group. Having travelled hours and separately our request for any earlier check in was requested and the hotel did their upmost to help us where they could. Throughout our stay the overall staff were so helpful and accommodating from bar, flight bar to receptionists and cleaning staff/supervisors. Our young party of people particularly felt safe and secure having security at the door of the hotel.
Thank you to all for our great stay. Will be back for more group stays.
Just checked in and I love the hotel. Room is spacious and has everything I expect from a Hilton. Spotlessly clean and very quiet. Only slight miff is my colleagues all got a can of Irn-Bru and a Tunnocks wafer bar and I didn’t…I feel cheated! Haha
Great staff and facilities
Modern, quiet, spacious room (Executive King)
Paying for parking
Fantastic location for the Teca Venue, little expensive, but overall given location value for money. Parking for guess could be slightly cheaper. Breakfast overpriced for the quality and variety. To be honest wouldn't book breakfast next visit.
The spa area is a must when visiting, very relaxing.
Breakfast - poor quality and variety, for price charged. I personally had sausage, black pudding, hash brown, fried egg and beans. Out of this the black pudding and hash brown were the only decent things.
Muffin was disgusting and pastry undercooked.
Nice and clean place, good vibe.
Clean and modern hotel
The food in the restaurant was not as good as I expected for such a nice hotel.
Clean, modern & great staff.
The price of the food & drink. £96 for 2 drinks & 2 x fish & chips, absolutely scandalous & a rip off.
Location of the hotel was next to the TECA convention centre where the meeting was held and hence very convenient to attend the meeting. Staff were friendly and courteous. Cab service was available in a jiffy though the prices were a bit expensive compared to other countries. Breakfast spread was good but the dinner menu could have more international options.
Bit expensive when compared to hotels which offer similar facillities.
The room was lovely, ideal location for the exhibition centre
Nothing
Very friendly staff and other guests
It was very nice
The car park was a walk away and it wasn’t easy to find
We stayed at Hilton Aberdeen TECA for 4 nights as a family (2 adults, 3 children, two rooms and a car).
There were some positives: the rooms were modern, spacious, interconnected, and very clean. The staff were consistently friendly and polite, and overall cleanliness throughout the hotel was good.
However, several aspects were disappointing, especially considering this is presented as a higher-end hotel.
Parking is charged at £15 per day, which already adds up for a family stay. What was more surprising was being charged for bathrobes—£10 per robe per day to use them to go from the room to the spa. We even received inconsistent information, as another staff member said it was a one-off charge. For a family of five, this becomes excessive, and it’s the first time we’ve encountered this in a hotel of this standard.
The breakfast offering was limited and of low quality. The self-service pancakes were undercooked, and there were very few options for vegetarians or vegans. There was also no à la carte option.
The restaurant was not good value for money and the menu needs improvement. The children’s tomato soup was essentially passata, which was disappointing. The Caesar salad was particularly poor: the anchovies were placed whole on top rather than incorporated into the dressing, resulting in a very strong, unpleasant smell. The burger was good, but overall the food did not meet expectations.
In the rooms, amenities were very basic for this level of hotel. There was no bottled water or minibar—just tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and wall mounted standard toiletries.
Overall, while the hotel is clean and the staff are welcoming, it feels more like an airport hotel than a family-friendly destination. It may be suitable for short business stays, but we would not recommend it for families visiting Aberdeen.
The overall impression is that guests are seen more as a source of extra charges than as valued customers. It inevitably raises questions about how the hotel operates behind the scenes, including how staff are treated.
