The place is nice and fun, but the rooms and amenities are not well maintained.
The place is old.
Food on the canteen was not clean. We eat there for lunch. Then they serve the same food for dinner. Nothing u can order or choices. Some of the food like pizza closed at 19 pm..This is the first and last..
Ambiance is so good especially for children.
This accommodation clearly has no concerns about a bad review. Where to start? Check in was appalling, disinterested staff, surly welcome, no information provided. We had to ask everything. The room was expensive for a dirty, mouldy, disfunctional space. No hot water, no cups or mugs provided, threadbare towels looked 20 years old. Sheets were dirty and old. The bathroom sink was blocked. It smelled badly of mould. It was very noisy, rubbish everywhere.
The rides and pools were okay. The place looks tired, several things under repair or construction made it feel like a building site which was an eyesore and unsafe for children. Limited supervision and poorly managed.
Despite saying we could bring a 4 year old to the room for no extra charge, they proceeded to charge me 800 pesos per night.
The food was awful, expensive and had limited choice. How can anybody make such terrible rice is beyond explanation. Under-cooked eggs, old food, terrible service, chaotically managed. They continually ran out of trays, utensils, water and even soy sauce in the dining area and of course the queues were incredibly lengthy. We had to queue for 30 minutes for breakfast one day. Just unacceptable for 5000 pesos per night.
The rides were okay. The pool areas were average.
Stay away and go to Sipalay instead.
Great
An overnight stay is not recommended. The blankets are too small and not suitable for a cold weather which is expected in a highland resort. Our door in bonita hut is broken. Too few power sockets and is also broken. And the most terrible part is there’s no available housekeeping and front office 24/7 which is very wrong for a HOTEL and resort.
Awesome artwork around, sad that the zipline had a weight limit of 60kg as that was probably the only adult friendly thing to do. Not very much food options as well, check out was noon and the pizza place barely opened as well as the souvenir shop.
Great place
Nice view and good for children because there is plenty to do for them.
Fun, enjoyable, great place for our kids.
Would be better if log rooms have aircon.
Campuestohan is an Adventure!
In one word, Campuestohan Highland Resort is fun. It is one of the best water parks I've seen in the Philippines.
To give you a clearer understanding I'll compare it to the American water park resort Schlitterbahn in Texas. Both parks have a wave pool, water slides, Beach Cabanas, campsites, lodging, restaurants, free ample parking, live events, and on-site shopping.
Campuestohan has characters walking the grounds for impromptu photo opportunities.
Schlitterbahn dosent have this feature.
Schlitterbahn has more water rides. forty-three as of 2023. However no zip lines.
Campuestohan has zip lines, bike zip lines, a suspended zip line confidence/obstacle course, a hanging rope bridge, an animatronic dinosaur park (included with entry), a merry-go-round (included with entry), and a spa.
Schlitterbahn is considered the best water park in the United States. But, if both parks were in the States, Campuestohan would have the "Best Waterpark" title with little to no argument.
Nice resort. Beautiful environment. Though for me, the walking is strenous, uphill, downhill, with many steps - not for seniors and PWDs.
Limited rooms for accommidation. Pricey, too. Can be the resort's improvement to add more rooms.
Only 1 main restaurant, location may be far depends on your chosen cottage, but there were food kiosks on some parts.
Lovely place and good for relaxing,
Spent almost P30,000 at your resort, expecting a great time, but it fell short. Dead bugs on the stairs and a room stench welcomed me and my family. Asked for a new room, got a Lysol spray. Toilet issues, messy plumber, and no front desk help. AC struggled, hot water issues, and no real solutions offered. Despite my concerns, only got 500 pesos back. Disappointed with the experience and hope you take this seriously for future guests.
Clean, staff were great and checking in was fast
I like the place it’s so wide, beautiful and has a lot of amenities as we enjoyed our stay. However, the room that we rented didn’t have hot water for shower, TV wasn’t working and people smoking everywhere most especially in the Veranda near to our room, it’s not so safe for us. There should be the designated places to smoke.
We spent overnight here and the experience was great especially we have small kids. They had so much fun running and playing around. They did not really enjoyed swimming at that time as it was too windy and they felt cold.
The place is perfect especially for the kids, they have plenty of swimming pools and play ground.
Acommodation is poor, the price is expensive to what they offered. The room is poorly/cheaply constructed. The door was so noisy (made of galvanized sheet), poor lighting, not properly cleaned and have limited water/hot shower. The shower stops, so be careful not to spent more time showering otherwise you cannot rinse yourself.
Restaurant/food: they served the same food from lunch to dinner. Note, the food were there exposed all day, what was left behind from lunch is still served for dinner. NO food safety.
They don't do "made to oder" food except for sandwiches, hamburger or fries.
Staff are friendly. Booking experience thru their website was ok. Bit disappointed that they have limited information about their rooms.
They only showed limited accommodations on their website, where you are forced to book what is available but when I called them to change the 1 room I booked (as their website only showed one room available) but they had more.
Just regret that I did not book over the phone. I thought they are fully booked at that time as they have have only limited rooms available online, but maybe that was their marketing strategy as when we are there, very limited people stayed overnight.
So far, our experience was good, happy to see the kids had fun. If you are planning to stay overnight, dont expect a lot on the accomodation and food -these are very basic that caters quantity not quality!
Didn't like that the sheets, towels and the extra foam mattress were not very clean, it lacked rugs, hand towels, some lights were not working, the stand fan was wobbly and looked like it would break apart, the room was dim. The dining room tables and chairs had ants.
There were very limited food choices
