Our stay was overall disappointing. The hallways had an unpleasant smell, and the hot water for tea was often not hot. The staff could have been more friendly and accommodating.
The most frustrating part was the loud noise coming from other rooms around 2 AM. We contacted the hotel for help, but unfortunately, nothing was done, and we were unable to get a good night’s sleep.
We also requested just a one-hour late checkout, but our request was declined even though the hotel did not appear to be very busy. A little more flexibility and attention to guest comfort would have made a big difference.
Air conditioning works well.

Very nice and beautiful.
The cleanliness fail short. We had to change rooms because of a wet dog smell. The next room had pink mold on the shower door and the tables had dog hair.
The Location & Facilities Are All Fabulous ! Close to Everything, Restaurants, Stores, etc. 15-30 Minute Drive To Area Lakes.
The Breakfast was good BUT not enough options and the Hot Choice wasn’t that good. Not enough protein. The shower would be great if it had a hose. Other than that-they thought of everything and it’s a wonderful property !
Above & beyond customer service! Clean, updated rooms, awesome free breakfast. Loved the amenities in the lobby (pool table, snacks, drinks, charging stations). We had such a lovely stay (our 1st at a Tru Hotel). Highly recommend!

Tru is what I would call an upscale basic hotel!
Everything was bright and clean. Well appointed with all the basic amenities you would want. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best I have seen at any hotel. I would love to come back.
Staff - especially Ayanna. She went beyond expectations to meet our needs. What a
hard worker she is. You are blest to have her.
The door was loud and heavy. The air conditioner needed help. It made such noise during the night.
It woke us up many times during the night. Rooms too small.
Funky little place, a real college town hotel. Room is reminiscent of a dorm. Staff is wonderful, good breakfast included. But sparse amenities. Shower gel empty, no bar soap, one towel each, uncomfortable bed, lousy pillows. No closet, no charger outlet near one side of the bed. Great location.
