What a gem
Pros:

Fantastic find. Loved the history and authenticity of the place. Great sized room. The sherry decanter was a very pleasant surprise. Excellent restaurant and breakfast served by friendly people.

Great inn in the forest
Pros:

Beautiful location in the forest. Birds, forest, wallabies, and streams surround the property. The room was very clean and comfortable. The facilities were nice. The service was great; very sweet, personable people running the inn. Breakfasts were very good.

Great Location with Breakfast and Historic Charm
Pros:

It’s a great location that suited our travel plans perfectly, and the staff were very welcoming. The pub and restaurant were a pleasure to enjoy after a day of travelling. Breakfast in the morning was a real delight before we hit the road again!

Cosy and welcoming
Pros:

Very friendly and welcoming staff, lovely home-style food in the restaurant and clean, comfortable room. Older style country pub/hotel so accomodation is maybe on the expensive side for what it is but the staff were so accomodating and the room was spacious and had everything we needed. Lovely way to make a weekend out of the trip to lake mountain for for our family of 4 w 2 young kids.

Great breakfast. Choice of continental or cooked breakfast which was a generous size.
Great location for visiting the snow. Cozy Lounge with fireplace was perfect for a drink before dinner after a cold day at the snow. Room was comfortable for family with newly renovated bathroom.

Warm, friendly lodge with comfy bed
Pros:

The Queen bed was really comfortable and the room had good heating. Room larger than appeared in photos. We were able to organise the night before to have our continental breakfast in room which meant we could get off early to the mountain. Convenient to have restaurant onsite for dinner.
