friendly staff, good value, central location
Pros:

Located just a couple of minutes from the JR Train station makes this hotel perfect if you travel by bus or train and have late/early connection to catch. The hotel is on a major road, but thanks to good sound proofing there is nothing to worry about. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was as described and equipped with fridge, kettle, a little desk, TV and a large and comfortable bed. Everything as clean and well maintained. Necessary amenities were provided as well. Supermarkets, restaurant and other shooping facilities are all in walking distance. The Shinamo River and Chuo Ward is just a short walk away, where you can walk/run/bike along the rvier or take a tour to the beach while visiting the Aquarium or wathever you like. Recommended is to take a tour to the Niigata Toki Exhibition Center and its observation deck (about 15 minutes walking distance). From here you have a nice 360 degrees view over Niigata. IT keeps open long enough in the evening to watch the sunset as well. For other excursions, visting museums or parks the local busses are running all from JR station were also the central bus station is located.

ゴールデンウィーク連休中の仕事で３泊４日で泊まったのだけれど、平日の3倍近くの料金設定で不満でした。
